2022
Ainsley Velasquez-5’10 SG/SF (Randall HS) Hoop 10
Velasquez is one of those players that I tell others they need to get out more when trying to evaluate or compare because one more time, “talent is everywhere if you know what you’re looking at” and with her size and ability to not only create her shot but knock it down with a hand in her face gives her a huge edge because “college coaches love BIG guards that can shoot” but she also attacks off the dribble to go with the mid to long-range, rebounds on both ends and defended well
Zeta Jenkins-6’0 PF (Bowie HS) Texas Warriors Elite
Jenkins improvement since the last time I saw her tells me one thing, she has been working and from what I saw the only other time I had evaluated her to now tells me she’s been working and I love progression. She brings a college-ready body to the table, she finished powerful and after contact but her interior defense as well as stepping outside the paint shows agility and mobility. Her rebounding on both ends was strong and she still hasn’t peaked

Reese Brittain-5’7 G (Seguin HS) Competitive Edge
Brittain was Great as I play on part of my ancestry yet watching her watch everything on the court to see the floor and make pinpoint passes were nice, very nice as well as her finishes around the basket. I had seen a glimpse of what she brought to the table before yet she has added quite a bit to her tools, the pull-up jumper going full speed was nice as well as her creating her shot to attack the rim
Mikalah Buckley-5’6 PG (Hendrickson HS) Austin Elite
Buckley with the B/C which stands body control yet her dazzling finishes will also get you dizzy enough to take some BC. I enjoyed her toying with the defenders, she showed an explosive first step yet she also showed deep range so the phrase “pick your poison” applies and her handling the ball under pressure in the open court as well as making the right passes, also under pressure were all pluses
2024
Alysha Garcia-5’0 PG (Dhanis HS) DC Queens SA
Garcia wore #5 at the event, she’s 5 feet tall, and since math got me into MENSA, that equals 10 which she got from the camp for numerous reasons including “size don’t matter when you can play” and seeing her in the 1 on 1 drill setting the defender up had me smiling early and it translated on to the game situation so watching her just break the opposition down to attack or dish was nice but her finishes were even nicer because she stays with it, this includes, after contact
