Her defense is intense the entire game- doesn’t give her opponent any breathing room. She can create buckets off the dribble, and hit from anywhere outside! Very well developed handles, and her footwork- wow! She just goes! Thrives on fast breaks. I can see Johnson being a key player for a talented Reynoldsburg squad. (Featured Photo)
Mia Hutchinson- 2024, Worthington Kilbourne: Hutchinson has a long frame, which is a great asset with defense. Puts great pressure on her opponent, and literally jumps out of no where to rebound and block shots! Don’t leave her open, because she can hit the outside shots as well! She’s a spark for her team!
Natalie Smith- G, 2024, Grandview Heights: Natalie has a strong motor- her quickness and speed feed into good transition and half court offense where she can make smart dishes to her teammates. Great defender, love her instincts- she anticipates well. And you can tell from the court that she’s coachable!
Kendall Longbreak- F, 2024, Grandview Heights: Fundamentally tough player, who can play both inside and outside. She gets into position to receive a pass, and her footwork is solid. Tough and active on the boards. She has a high basketball IQ, great sense of knowing where to be, and what her team needs to succeed.
Macy Chapman- PG, 5’9, 2022, Hilliard Bradley: I love Macy’s aggressive style of play. She is relentless on defense, with active hands and feet- and just finds ways to pester anyone she guards! Fantastic pressure on the ball. Strong moves to the basket, and can easily go coast to coast with the ball- smart decision maker on transition. She makes the offense click!
