First up tonight, my 15U all-tournament team which will then lead into several upcoming articles featuring some of the 15U players who performed well in the tournament.
Victory Region 15U All-Tournament Team
Jaylah Lampley Jaylah Lampley 6'2" | SF Lawrence Central | 2025 State IN , 6-1 2025, Ohio United 2024
One of the most talented athletes in the country in the 2025 class. She can play the 2/3 but with her incredible talent, she can play anywhere on the court. She has superior length, quickness, knocks down 3s and attacks the basket well. She plays with smoothness and skill, high motor and her defense is at an unreal level.
Berry Wallace Berry Wallace 6'1" | SF Pickerington Central | 2024 State OH , 6-2 2024, Ohio United 2024
This kid is going to be so special, her skillset was extremely developed for someone with one year of varsity experience under her belt. She has her hands in the right place defensively, and she is active enough to force mistakes. Excellent footwork and she is capable of playing fast north-south in transition. Runs the floor very well for someone with her height and will hurt you from everywhere. Very good fundamentals. (Feature photo above)
Lauren Hassell, 6-1 2027, TN Sol United 2024
She is so good, it is hard to believe she is only going into the seventh grade…yes, you read that correctly. She is playing up, has a long athletic body with long arms and can create turnovers. Her perimeter game is solid, very athletic and posts up and seals well. She has good footwork and can score at the rim. Able to run in transition with good body control with solid handles. Also can play perimeter. Incredible for her age.
Kiarra Loveless Kiarra Loveless 6'1" | PF Westfield | 2024 State IN , 6-0 2024, Indiana Showcase Gorman 2024
In the game I saw her play, she excelled in a variety of ways. She is an excellent multidimensional athlete with good handles, can run the floor in transition and finish with either hand. She has a solid athletic frame, can guard any position with excellent court awareness and a nice wingspan. She covers a lot of ground. Also can shoot from behind the arc. (pictured right)
Asia Sawyers, 5-8 2024, TN Sol Black 2024
She was all over the place on defense with good anticipation of the ball. Also has active hands and played under control with a good basketball IQ. She can score from inside or outside with good moves and footwork in the paint.
Jordan Scott, 5-5 2025, SWISH City 2024 Jones
Can play either guard spot, Jordan does a lot of things well. She is a good rebounder, gets in position well on the boards and displays good handles. She just makes plays happen and has good knowledge of the game. As an eighth grader playing up, she plays hard and aggressive, not giving up on the play. She puts good pressure on the top of the key.
