The 2021 National Championship ran the final 3 days of the July eval period from July 23-25 in Orlando, FL. The event welcomed 400+ teams from all over the country competing in 17U division all the way down to 11U. The game of the night was a double OT thriller where East Coast United Family 2023 won on the final shot defeating TN Flight Navy Newman 2022 to advance in bracket play. The game featured several top prospects on East Coast United across several classes. Here are some of the top players in the 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes from day 2 in Orlando.
2024
Kiara Williams Kiara Williams 6'1" | PF Palm Bay Magnet | 2024 State FL 6’0 Forward – East Coast United Family 2023
Williams is an undersized forward for ECU’s 2023 Family squad and is one of the top ranked prospects in the 2023 Prep Girls Hoops Florida rankings. She is an absolute beast inside! She has a strong, solid build with broad shoulders. She made a couple drop steps last night where the defender bounced off her. Big time player! Love her aggressiveness.
Nyla Patrozio 6’2 Center – East Coast United Family 2024
The family squad was loaded with talent and Patrozio immediately grabbed my attention. She is a strong post with a great build. She moves well for her size and is a huge presence in the paint and controls the boards. I loved her ability to defend players attempting to take her off dribble from wing as she moves well laterally.
2025
Carmen McDaniel 5’6 Guard – Palm Beach Garden Starzz
McDaniel caught my eye for the Palm Beach Garden Starzz 2024 squad. She is a young wing with raw athleticism. She looks young to the game but has a chance to develop if she continues to improve her offensive skill set and gets stronger.
Jaida Civil 5’10 Wing – East Coast United Family 2023
This is my first time seeing Civil. She is a young and athletic 5’10 wing with a big time vertical. She can put it to the floor as a slasher going right and has a quick and explosive first step. High level athlete!
London Atkins 6’1 Wing/Forward – Team Florida
Atkins was impressive for Team Florida. She is a big, mobile, versatile wing/forward. Her size, body, and strength stand out when playing in her age range. She has a chance to be very good if she continues to develop her offensive skill set.
2026
Tatyana Campise Pinkney 5’6 Guard – Florida Lady Huskies
Tatyana played well in the evening game. She is an strong, athletic, aggressive guard who plays fearlessly. She attacks the rim off the dribble on the offensive end and she covers a lot of ground on D and is constantly around the ball.
Jakiyah Smith 5’7 Guard – Team Florida *From Alabama
Smith a potential big-time prospect. She is a young, athletic guard/wing with unlimited potential. Offensively she did several things well – attacking the basket, putting the ball to the floor from the wing penetrating to the rim, as well as grabbing offensive rebounds. Defensively she used her athleticism to pressure the ball, deflect and intercept passes for steals, as well as get in passing lanes. High level athlete!
2027
Naya Hardisson Naya Hardisson 5'6" | PG Southridge | 2027 State FL 5’4 Guard – Florida Lady Huskies
Hardisson can knock it down from deep. She hit a couple of 3-pointers in the 2nd half as the Huskies tried to stage a come back. Her range goes well beyond the 3-point line and she can also put it to the floor and attack her man off the dribble and score at rim.
