It’s early but several of these young ladies already hold multiple D1 offers and look to be on their way to being big time recruits. Here’s a look at some big risers in the 2024 rankings.
Reagan Bender Reagan Bender 5'9" | SF Sacred Heart | 2024 State KY , Sacred Heart – Bender cracked our top 5 after a really strong Freshman season that ended with a state championship. She’s a versatile big forward with the ability to score the ball in multiple ways in addition to being an above average rebounder. She’s got D1 upside for sure.
Gracie-Jo Wilder Gracie-Jo Wilder 6'0" | SG Bell County | 2024 State KY , Whitley County – Wilder is the biggest mover after she was grossly under-ranked the last time out. She’s a big time slasher who can also do some damage from three if you leave her open. Her shooting splits are impressive on the wing and she’s a good rebounder for her position. Definitely a future (current?) D1 recruit.
Kristen Whited Kristen Whited 5'5" | SG Pikeville | 2024 State KY , Pikeville – Speaking of big time shooters, Kristen is one of the best around. She makes a living off the drive and kicks of Trinity Rowe Trinity Rowe 5'7" | PG Pikeville | 2024 State KY and gets a lot of clean looks that way. Over half her attempted shots last season were threes but Whited can put the ball on the floor and attack too.
Laiken Hardin Laiken Hardin 5'10" | CG Bourbon County | 2024 State KY , Bourbon County – Bourbon County should be trending up over the next few seasons and a lot of that will be due to the growth of Hardin. She and Jaydyn Goodwin will be the top returners for a team that looks to make a push to get back to the region tournament next year and hopefully make a run at the title in the near future.
