Malarie Ross (COH Elite 17U): The talented point guard was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament after leading her team to the championship. She distributed the ball well and could score on a variety of escape moves to the basket. She was also a solid defensive player who played the passing lanes well.
Caydee Kirkham (COH Elite 17U): A talented guard who was one of the best perimeter shooters in the entire tournament. Whenever she got a good look, she knocked down one 3-pointer after another throughout the weekend. She moved well without the ball to get herself into the open spots.
Aseanti Boone (LHBA): An athletic 5’9″ forward who used her speed and quickness to her advantage at both ends of the court. She had good anticipation on defense and could play the passing lanes well for steals and transition layups. She had a quick first step to the basket as well as a very effective hesitation move off the dribble.
Ella Bartsch (Colorado Titans 17U): A versatile combo forward who was looking to attack the basket at every opportunity. She was physically strong and she could finish through contact and get the conventional three-point play. She used her ball handling ability to her advantage to get by opposing post players off the dribble.
Candra King (COH Elite 15U): A solid young post player who did well while playing up in the 17U division with her young team. She had good footwork in the post and a nice shooting touch. She moved well up and down the court and she had a very good outlet pass to start the fast break.
