Next week, we turn our attention to the OGBR Top 64, the top individual event in the country which is slated for this Sunday in Cincinnati.
2022 Standouts- Part 2
Emma Pedroza, 5-8 G, Napoleon
One of the biggest reasons that Napoleon captured the Ohio Division 2 state title last season, and she is picking up right where she left off. She has as good of a complete game as anyone in her class. Very underrated with a strong perimeter game. Has excellent range and can score consistently from deep range. She is able to create with anticipation, while she is a physical and punishing player on defense. She dictates the tempo and style of play. Can guard multiple positions. (feature photo above)
Chloe Bancroft, 5-7 G, Madison
This Northeast Ohio senior comes from a solid travel club, and showcases a lot of good skills as someone who can run her teams offense. She runs the offense very well, and is a smart player at both ends of the court. Chloe is an exceptional passer with sharp court vision, she is a high intensity player with a good motor. Shifty guard with great leadership skills.
Emma Bollinger, 5-6 G, Bellevue
She is another guard who is able to run the show efficiently for her team. Emma has very good ball control and good handles with either hand, she can create shots from various spots on the floor. Able to put the ball on the floor and makes plays. She does a good job moving well without the ball.
Alexandria Magers, 5-5 G, East Knox
A complete guard who can help her team at both ends of the floor. On offense, I love the way she can create and score in a variety of ways. She has good handles and controls the ball well with both hands. She can push the ball in transition, loves to fly fast north-south and can complete the break. Defensively, she anticipates the ball well and plays very smart, able to read the play.
Aubree Tack, 5-2 G, Butler Area (PA)
This western PA kid is a very good floor general, she knows how to run the offense and is like a coach on the floor. She can defend well and has active hands which can help lead to forcing turnovers and allowing her team to capitalize. Aubree is a smart player with a high basketball IQ. She also can run the floor in transition, and sees the floor well leading to scoring chances.
