Emily Acton Emily Acton 5'6" | CG Cimarron | 2022 State KS , 5’7”, SG, Cimarron, Western Kansas Elite 2022 Cossman – Acton had a good day and was a difference maker with her perimeter shooting. Her release was quick off the catch.
AmUnique Cavitt AmUnique Cavitt 5'5" | PG Wichita North | 2022 State KS , 5’7”, PG, Wichita North, Dynasty 2022 Black – Cavitt was as aggressive and physical on each end of the floor as I have seen. Coupled with her quick hands, transition speed with the ball, and perimeter shooting ability she was a real problem for her opponents. Several college coaches liked what they saw.
Allana Curry Allana Curry 5'7" | CG Wichita Southeast | 2022 State KS , 5’7”, SG, Wichita Southeast, Dynasty 2022 Black – Curry had a good day with her solid speed with the ball and threat as a shooter. She has a solid build and is a solid free throw shooter.
Rachel Fischer Rachel Fischer 6'0" | PF Medicine Lodge | 2022 State KS , 6’0″, PF, Medicine Lodge, Western Kansas Elite 2023 Adigun/Nichols – Rachel Fischer Rachel Fischer 6'0" | PF Medicine Lodge | 2022 State KS – Fischer’s inside and rebounding game has always been there but this summer she has shown continuous improvement in her quickness and athleticism. Her hops have also improved. With her build and strength, Fischer is a lot to handle and at times she can be flat out abusive to defenders – shoot over them, score off the post-up, or use her handles to get a step from the high post. She can score a lot of ways, has good transition speed, and is a very solid interior defender.
Nevaeh Green Nevaeh Green 6'0" | PF Winfield | 2022 State KS , 6’0”, C, Winfield, Wheat State Elite 2022 Ferguson – Green is big, strong, and continues to develop her post game. She runs well and has quickness of foot. It is clear she knows what she wants to do with the ball inside, it is a matter of sharpening her execution. Keep an eye on her. Green’s potential is real.
Jorah Harbaugh Jorah Harbaugh 5'4" | PG Pretty Prairie | 2022 State KS , 5’5”, PG, Pretty Prairie, Western Kansas Elite 2022 Cossman – Harbaugh showed substantial smarts and shiftiness with the ball. A strong ball handler with good passing ability, Harbaugh constantly lost defending guards off the ball and working the high screen game.
Jada Hopson Jada Hopson 5'8" | SG Derby | 2022 State KS , 5’8”, G, Derby, Dynasty 2022 Black – Hopson plays with a bit of edginess on both ends. She moves well into space and does a great job of running the floor with her head up to receive transition catches. I would like to see an extra half step of quickness while defending on the perimeter.
Hailey Nafziger, 6’1”, PF, Blue Valley North, Kansas Elite 2022 Ebert – Nafziger has solid size and length and runs well in transition. Game in, game out, Nafziger always plays hard and within herself. I would like to see her control the ball better off the catch and rebound as well as show more from her post game.
Riley Smith Riley Smith 5'7" | SF Baldwin | 2022 State KS , 5’8”, SG, Baldwin, Wheat State Elite 2022 Ferguson – Smith showed very good transition vision, speed with the ball, and made strong down-the-floor passes. Keeping contact more consistently and with physicality as a perimeter defender when shots go up away from her will help her in the rebounding department.
Tya Tindall Tya Tindall 5'5" | CG Campus | 2022 State KS , 5’6”, PG, Campus, Dynasty 2022 Black – Tindall continued showing her offensive aggressiveness, speed with the ball, and general physicality on both ends of the floor. She is a threat to create every time down the floor. With the women’s collegiate three point line moving out to 22 feet and 1¾ inches, showing off her three ball range a little more would be good to see.
McKenna Vogl McKenna Vogl 5'11" | PF Pretty Prairie | 2022 State KS , 6’0”, PF/C, Pretty Prairie, Western Kansas Elite , 2022 – Vogl opened the day by showing off a quick mid-range jumper off a post kick-out. Another nice play was a solid left block drop step post drive off a ball fake for a left-handed score.
