HoopPlay USA Nationals: 9th/10th Grade All-Tournament Team
After the HoopPlay USA National Tournament wrapped up, I went back through all my scouting notes and realized I had seen some really good ball teams and players. The tournament had three high school divisions; 9th grade, 10th grade, and varsity. The players from Arkansas that really stood out to me and was a difference-maker for their team made the All-Tournament Team.
Azurea Seamster | Post | 2023 | Arkansas Blaze (Lafayette County High School)
This athlete played a big role for her team that included anchoring the defense, doing the dirty work, and scoring.
Savannah Powell | 5’6 | CG | 2024 | Arkansas Blaze (Lafayette County High School)
Part of a great 1-2 punch while teamed up with Azura Seamster.
Jewell Walley | 5’8 | CG | 2025 | Arkansas United (Southside High School)
Solid player that carried multiple responsibilities for her team on the offensive end of the floor.
Emily Walley | 5’7 | Wing | 2024 | Arkansas United (Southside High School)
Aggressive nature with the ability to score the basketball for her team.
Sydney Standridge | 5’10 | Wing/Post | 2023 | Arkansas United (Clinton High School)
Post player that can play with her back to the basket, rebound, and step out and hit the three.
Riley Whittington | 5’6 | PG | 2024 | Arkansas Angels (Mayflower High School)
A major piece to her team that does things that don’t always show up on the stat sheet.
Kayden Porter | 5’10 | CG | 2024 | Arkansas Angels (Sheridan High School)
She is the teams’ go-to scorer when they need a bucket.
Cammie Christie | 5’6 | CG | 2024 | Arkansas Angels (Perryville High School)
One of the best shooters in the tournament.
