The Varsity Division at the HoopPlay USA Nationals featured some really good talent. There were plenty of players that will be playing at the next level. I even got the opportunity to see a few players that are rising freshmen that held their own against the much older competition. Check out the players that made the Arkansas All-Tournament Team.

FIRST TEAM

Dessie McCarty Dessie McCarty 6'2" | C Mt. Vernon | 2024 State AR | 6’0 | Post | 2024 | Arkansas Elite (Mt. Vernon High School)

Excellent skills for a big. Excellent footwork, can handle the ball, and shoot the three.

Riley Underwood | 5’10 | Post | 2023 | Oklahoma Fusion (Pottsville High School)

Possesses good footwork on the low block. Effective from the high post and can defend.

Ashya Harris | 5’7 | Wing | 2022 | Oklahoma Fusion (Fort Smith Northside High School)

Shoots with great form and technique. Great catch and shooter, but can also put it on the floor.

Brett Gardner Brett Gardner 5'7" | CG Southside | 2022 State AR | 5’6 | PG | 2022 | Arkansas Sting (Southside Batesville High School)

Great point guard that can control the game with her decision-making and IQ. Can attack in half-court or transition.

Madeleine Tipton | 5’10 | CG/Wing | 2022 | Arkanas Sting (Vilonia High School)

Can guard multiple positions on defense. Does a great job of finding open areas for catch and shoot.

SECOND TEAM

Kadee Keaster | 5’4 | PG | 2025 |  Swaggin’ Dragons (Atkins High School)

She’s a point guard with a lot of potential. Can score, defend, plays hard, and gets others involved.

Sidni Middleton | 5’10 | CG | 2025 | Arkansas Sting (Vilonia High School)

Sidni can play either guard position. With her length, she can guard multiple positions also. Can shoot the three and get to the rim.

Khassidy Warr | 5’9 | CG | 2022 | Oklahoma Fusion (Fort Smith Northside High School)

A strong player that can be physical. Pushes the ball well in transition and can finish through contact.

Khamille Warr | 5’8 | Wing/Post | 2022 | Oklahoma Fusion (Fort Smith Northside High School)

An undersized big but makes up for it with her physicality and aggressive nature.

Lindsey Aday Lindsey Aday 5'8" | PF Pottsville | 2022 State AR | 5’8 | Wing/Post | 2022 | Arkansas Sting (Pottsville High School)

Lindsey is a utility player that does whatever the team needs. Will defend any player. Can also score the ball in a variety of ways.
