Throughout the course of this month, I have been providing daily updates on players I’ve seen the previous day. Some articles will include strictly Indiana prospects, while others might include other Midwestern or National prospects. Below is a look at five additional young ladies who I felt stood out with their play in the games I was able to see Friday at the All-Iowa Attack Summer Finale in Des Moines, Iowa. This begins my final event for the second “live” period of the Summer of 2021.

Kenzie is a highly skilled, athletic, and tough-nosed lead guard. She shows a lot of poise with the ball in her hands, she wards off opposing defenders with some physicality, and when they get too close, she does a nice job of absorbing contact and drawing fouls. She shot the ball well around the perimeter when I was able to see her over the weekend, but she was also a willing facilitator and did a nice job managing their offense. Kenzie has already given a verbal commitment to Saint Louis University.

Lenee is a really nice talent who has drawn her share of high-major Division-I interest following the July “live” periods. She is incredibly long, wiry-strong, and fluidly athletic. She is extremely smooth offensively, as she glides around the floor seemingly effortlessly. She can attack the basket and finish with either hand, she has a nice mid-range game as well, plus she can bury jumpers consistently from the perimeter. She is a walking bucket, but she also does a nice job of using her length and athleticism to be a really nice defender.

Delaney is all motor and toughness, and she had a nice stretch of games last week. She has an athletically strong frame, she’s a nice North/South athlete, and she likes to play with contact. When she catches it on the perimeter, she’s always looking to turn the corner and get downhill towards the rim. She can finish in the paint, pull up from 10 to 12-feet, plus she has shown the ability to knock down the occasional 3-pointer. But it’s her effort that probably stands out most, as she is a blue-collar kid, willing to do the little things and defend whoever.

Megan is a really nice, high IQ, hard-working combo guard who does a little of everything for her team. She has a little strength to her, some quickness, and she can attack the basket and finish through contact. She’s a very good perimeter shooter who needs little space to get her shot away, plus she uses the dribble well to get defenders off-balance. She is a willing passer, and I think long-term she’ll be a point guard at the next level. She is definitely someone I believe all upper-level small colleges would be interested in.

I wrote about Britt last week, following her play at the North Tartan Meltdown, and it’s hard not to continue writing about her over and over again. She is a really nice talent, a versatile ballplayer, and someone who is on a lot of radars at this point. She is so long, smooth, and skilled, and she can flat score the basketball at any level against any type of defender. She is a nice athlete off the bounce, and she does most of her work in the mid-range game or finishing at the basket, but she also has a pure stroke from the perimeter.
