2023 Lizzie Baldridge, 5’9” Guard, York
Baldridge is an athletic Point Guard who can play on or off-ball with her skillset. The IL Lady Lightning rising Junior is reliable from the Lead Guard spot and attacks the lane with her athleticism and quickness. Once in the lane, Lizzie uses her length to score around defenders and showed the ability to finish at a high level with her left or right hand.
2025 Aubrey Galvan, 5’5” Guard, Deerfield
An incoming Freshman who will make an immediate impact at the Varsity level, Galvan is a shifty ball-handler who has the vision and passing abilities that not many others possess. The Full Package Point Guard has the feel and instincts to find openings in the defense and create open looks for herself and her teammates. Aubrey is dynamic in the open floor and consistently shows she is a high-level finisher around the rim.
2023 Sidney Rogers, 5’6” Guard, Glenbrook South
Rogers is a highly skilled ball-handler with good athleticism and scoring abilities from the Point Guard position. The Midwest Elite rising Junior can break defenders down with her handles and quickness and make good decisions in the lane. Sidney shoots the ball well from deep with good range, and constantly gives opposing Point Guards problems on the defensive end.
2023 Lexi Salazar Lexi Salazar 5'7" | SG Plainfield North | 2023 State IL , 5’7” Guard, Plainfield North
A high-scoring Point Guard with good leadership skills, Salazar is an excellent Floor General for her Midwest Elite team. She loves to create opportunities to drive past defenders and facilitate to her open teammates but can also score at every level. Lexi is a knock down shooter from beyond the three-point line and uses her strength to finish through contact at the basket.
2024 Brooke Carlson Brooke Carlson 5'8" | PG Batavia | 2024 State IL , 5’6” Guard, Batavia
Carlson is a high-level Point Guard and one of the top players in Illinois’ Class of 2024, and showed why again this weekend with Midwest Elite EYBL. She consistently gave as much or more effort than anyone else on the floor and showed good confidence against great competition. Brooke is a sound ball-handler with terrific court vision and passing skills who can score from the perimeter with a solid jumper or in the paint with her ability to finish strong through contact.
2022 Claire Hyde Claire Hyde 5'6" | CG Wheaton North | 2022 State IL , 5’6” Guard, Wheaton North
Carlson’s teammate on the Midwest Elite EYBL team, Hyde is strong and tough at the Lead Guard position. She is a reliable ball-handler who brings up the tempo with her speed and quick decision making. Claire is a high-level shooter from beyond the three-point line with range and uses her strength to absorb contact when scoring near the basket.
2023 Alyssa Hughes Alyssa Hughes 5'7" | CG St. Charles North | 2023 State IL , 5’7” Guard, St. Charles North
A versatile Combo Guard who primarily plays on-ball with her M14 Hoops squad, Hughes has an impressive set of skills on the offensive end of the floor. She is a knock-down shooter from beyond the three-point line and has the athleticism to get in the lane and make plays. Alyssa was also terrific on the defensive end, making things tough for opposing Point Guards with lockdown defense.
2022 Megan Williams Megan Williams 5'10" | CG Normal West | 2022 State IL , 5’10” Guard, Normal West
Williams is a very reliable Point Guard with the Illinois Valley Warriors who gives good versatility with her length and skillset. She is a confident ball-handler with good strength to attack and make plays in the lane with her good vision and passing skills. Megan can score at every level with a good-looking jump shot and terrific finishing abilities at the basket.
2022 Laurelei Thormeyer, 5’6” Guard, Providence Catholic
A speedy Point Guard with slick handles and good decision-making abilities, Thormeyer is an obvious leader on the floor for her Illinois Rockets team. She is terrific in transition with her court vision and passing skills and consistently finds creative ways to finish around the basket. Laurelei shoots the ball well from the outside and gives maximum effort guarding the ball on the defensive end of the court.
