She led the way in scoring averaging 12.5 points per game and was a big help on the rebounding end snagging 5.4 rebounds a contest. Emily proved to be so much more than just a scorer in being a tremendous defender. She played excellently within the Mustangs 2-3 zone defense in being able to disrupt passing lanes averaging 3.6 steals a game.
Kiara Jangula – Edgley/Kulm/Montpelier – (5’6/PG/2023) – Jangula provides a real spark for the Rebels. She’s an above-average defender who doesn’t lose her defender and often guards the opposing team’s best guard. She has good ball-handling skills and matches that with good court awareness. She averaged 9 points and nearly 2.5 steals per game this year.
Norah Entzi – Edgley/Kulm/Montpelier – (5’8/SF/2023) – Entzi gives a big spark off the bench for the Rebels. She averaged 9 points and snagged nearly 3 rebounds per game this year. She has a quick first step in getting to the rim and decent ball-handling skills to take her man one on one. If Norah can develop more of a jump shot this coming year she will prove to be an even bigger threat offensively.
Sophie Ketterling – Napoleon G/S – (5’3/PG/2023) – Sophie did a lot of the dirty work this year for Napoleon. She did all the little things that coaches ask of their players like diving on the floor for loose balls, taking charges, and fighting for the offensive boards. Sophie averaged 8.2 points, 2.5 offensive boards, and took a charge in nearly every contest. If Ketterling can bring up that intensity come this Winter, Napoleon will be in good shape to make another Region 3 appearance.
Teegan Scherr Teegan Scherr 5'5" | PG Linton/HMB | 2022 State ND – Linton-HMB – (5’5/SG/2022) – Teegan is a defensive menace. She provided excellent defensive awareness for the Lions this year. She has good speed to match quick reaction times on the court. Scheer fit perfectly within the Lions’ fast-paced offense and defensive style. She averaged 9 points 2.5 rebounds and nearly 3 steals per game.
