Thursday was the last day of North Tartan’s annual Meltdown in Minneapolis. I was out at Hopkins High School all day taking in the majority of the top divisions. Teams were visibly tired but still made the best of it and I saw some really good individual performances. Below I share my five standouts from the last day of action.

Mattingly played really well today and brought her team back for the win almost on her own in their first game today. I thought that she showed really good patience with the ball and knows when to attack the rim. She’s a solid shooter who made a few baskets right in a row. I was very impressed with her once again and I thought that she played very consistently all week long. Mattingly is a leader on both ends of the floor for her team.
