Da’Lonna Choice-5’6 PG (Team Lex Loaded) Horn HS
Choice falls into that small guard with SWP, speed with the ball and her ability to to get to the basket multiple ways was nice. She creates her shot under pressure, her first step leaves def fears in their tracks yet in the open court, it’s almost a track meet as she blows by them effortlessly. She finishes strongly and plays good defense, it the half court set or baseline to baseline
Kyra Samuels-6’2 C (Team Lex Loaded) North Forney HS
Samuels uses her body well on both ends of the floor, she defends inside the paint and does a good job rebounding on the defensive end yet she has some nice over inside the paint, understands how command the ball and finishes strongly, after contact but she also rebounds well in the offensive end and scored off of put backs
Sarah Adams-5’6 PG (TX Platinum 17U Bates) Cedar Creek HS
Adams is heady, plays within herself and understands how to score in the flow yet she also does things that don’t show up on a scoresheet as well as a lot of things you won’t see in a stat sheet like handling the ball and controlling the tempo, under pressure as well as recognizing and avoiding traps but she also understands how to create her shot and knocks the jumper down as well as attacks and finishes with either hand
Kenyah Maroney-5’10 SF (TX Platinum 17U Bates) Wylie HS
Mahoney did a good job rebounding on the defensive end, also played solid defense inside and outside the paint yet she has knack for going after the ball, be it of the rim or just loose, she recognizes and anticipates which also works when she plays the passing lane. She attacks the basket from outside, finishes nicely that was was as well as after offensive rebounds
Victoria Adeniran-5’5 PG (SA Hoops Elite Gold-McCleary) O’Connor HS
Adeniran has the right last name because her SWB, speed with the ball, stood out as she ran past defenders with ease to either assist or score off the dribble, this in the open court. What really grabbed me was she plays defense and enjoys applying pressure, she’s on the ball full-court or she has a hand in the offensive players face when they shoot yet get this, she beats the offensive player to the spot they’re attempting to go to, which is #THROWBACK
