1-on-1 Champion
2022 5’10 SF Mya Jones Mya Jones 5'10" | SF Franklin | 2022 WA (Franklin HS) was really impressive throughout the showcase, but her brightest moment came in front of the entire camp as she took home the one on one title. Jones showed great charisma for the game. She displayed some slick handle to create her own shot utilizing side steps and turnarounds to get off her jumper. She also has good length and athleticism from the wing. A recruitable prospect that is still available in the 2022 class.
Top Stock Risers
The camp was honestly full of so many new prospects, surprises and stock risers but the media and coaching staff voted two that really stood out as top stock risers/surprises.
2023 5’9 SG Grace Turley Grace Turley 5'9" | CG Mount Si | 2023 State WA (Mount Si HS) was a clear stock riser. She came into camp all the way under the radar, but she left camp with some believers. Turley showed off a diverse skill set with her handle, shot creation and ability to set up teammates pretty well. She has some length at 5’9 and is on track to be able to help a college program as she still has a couple years of high school to develop.
2023 5’8 SG Ava Uusitalo Ava Uusitalo 5'8" | SG Lake Washington | 2023 State WA (Lake Washington HS) was another real standout that the media crew and evaluators had the first chance to see. The first that stood out was how hard she was playing. Her pace was there and she made plays in transition, as well as in the half court attacking the basket and hitting some shots.
Most Valuable Player
One player truly stood out above the rest and that was 2022 6’4 Sarah Lamet Sarah Lamet 6'3" | C Tigard | 2022 State OR out of Oregon. Her mobility, length, skill and passing awareness was impressive to say the least. Lamet has an athletic, long frame. She was finishing with either hand over either shoulder and threw some really good passes from the high post position. She easily played like a Division 1 prospect and remains available in her recruitment.
