Avery is a big wing with a solid build to her. She likes to roam on the wing but will get dirty inside and cut to the hoop and crash boards as well. Defends inside and outside. A strong rebounder that tracks the ball well of the rim, getting it at a high point. Had a solid Freshman campaign, scoring 8.9 ppg. and grabbing 5.9 rpg.
Allie Brundgardt Allie Brundgardt 5'6" | PG Norfolk Catholic | 2024 NE – 5’6 PG 2024 – Norfolk Catholic – As I was watching Norfolk Catholic, Allie came off the bench as a Freshman and showed some stuff to catch my eye. Allie is a young up and coming, shifty point guard. Handles the ball well and moves the ball with good pace. In summary, Allie has the speed and quickness to be an impactful player going forward.
Chloe Hanel Chloe Hanel 5'11" | CG Clarkson/Leigh | 2024 State NE – 5’11 PG 2024 – Clarkson/Leigh – Elite Basketball 2024 – Really like Chloe’s game and prospect profile. Chloe moves extremely well as a lengthy 5’11 guard, making her an elite defender. Moves like an NFL cornerback with the way she can back-peddle and change direction. Her defensive awareness and attentiveness is through the roof. Has super quick hands and is always finding the ball. Offensively she attacks with an ulta-quick first-step and can rise up. Offense and finishing needs to come around a little, but she’s a Division 1 prospect by my eyes. Led her high school team to a 20-3 record and produced all across the board. Stat line was 12.4 ppg. on 53% fg%, 2.8 apg.,5.1 rpg., 3.3 stls., and 1.3 blks. Chloe has some awesome upside and she’s one I’ll be sure to keep watching.
Norah Gessert Norah Gessert 6'0" | PG Millard West | 2025 State NE – 6’0 SG 2025 – Millard West – Elite Basketball 2024 – Norah is a 6’0 shooting guard but isn’t afraid to bring the ball up on her own and push. A smooth stroke from deep and a lengthy frame. Uses her length well on the ball, with a steady mirror. Very nice upside with her frame, build, and shooting ability.
Neleigh Gessert Neleigh Gessert 6'0" | SG Millard West | 2025 State NE – 6’0 SG 2025 – Millard West – Elite Basketball 2024 – Neleigh happens to be Norah’s identical twin. Long and has a lethal and pure three-point jumper. More of a set player but is deadly accurate and consistent. Both Norah and Neleigh received D1 offers from University of Nebraska Omaha.
Jordan Metzler Jordan Metzler 5'7" | SG Wakefield | 2024 State NE – 5’5 CG 2024 – Wakefield – Nebraska Attack 16U UAA – Jordan is one of my favorite prospects. Jordan plays super quick and is a twitchy athlete. The energy level is something you don’t see very often. She played up a year for the Attack. Put up a highly impressive stat line for Wakefield as a Freshman. She scored 13.4 ppg., 2.7 apg., 4.9 rpg., and 3.3 stls. The stats prove that she’s all over the court making plays for her team. Can get hot from three going 58-165 for 35%. Had three games where she hit five threes in the high school season.
