Alyssa Murphy Alyssa Murphy 5'5" | PG Corydon Central | 2025 State IN , Mercy – Alyssa could be one of the best freshmen in the Derby City this year. Coming off a summer where she played up 2 age groups with Kentucky Premier’s 16u EYBL squad, expectations are high for Murphy and a Mercy squad that should be pretty young and talented again this season.
Aniyah Carter Aniyah Carter 5'0" | PG Holy Cross | 2025 State KY , Lloyd Memorial – Carter was a role player for Lloyd last season and should see a lot bigger role this season for the Juggernauts. Aniyah had some strong showings on our Prep Girls Hoops Circuit this summer to get her name buzzing. She’s undersized but tough and is shifty with the ball in her hands.
Jayci Long Jayci Long 5'6" | PG Estill County | 2025 State KY , Estill County – Already one of the top players in her district, Jayci averaged nearly 13 points per game last season as an 8th grader and should have the Engineers primed to contend for district and regional titles in her freshman season.
Kate Baker Kate Baker 5'4" | PG Frederick Douglass | 2025 State KY , Frederick Douglass – Douglass is a program on the upswing and the young players like Baker have the Lady Broncos in position to be competing for regional titles for years to come. As an 8th grader, Kate played in every game and should see more offensive opportunities and a bigger role this season.
Brittany Campbell Brittany Campbell 5'6" | PG Madison Central | 2025 State KY , Madison Central – Central is very young but have some good talent coming up the ranks soon. Brittany was third on the team in scoring last season at just under 4 points per game and should be closer to 10 per game this year as her scoring efficiency will only improve as she ages and gets stronger.
