Sophia Spangler Sophia Spangler 5'6" | CG Loudonville | 2024 State OH , 5-6 2024, Big Walnut
This kid shows that she has a lot to give during the game. She always looks for her teammates first and does anything to help the team be successful during the game. She has a great hesitation move and when she attacks the basket, she is going hard and strong to the rim. Once she gets confident and continues developing her outside shot, she will be even more of a threat on the offensive end. (pictured right)
Mia Patterson, 5-4 2024, Beavercreek
Mia (pictured left) is an aggressive defender that never takes a play off. She is constantly giving you pressure and giving her team 100% on the defensive end. Her defense easily translates into offense, where she is able to attack you off the dribble or make an easy pass on the perimeter to her teammates. This kid is TOUGH, and you know when you watch her that she wants to work.
Paityn Corthell, 5-8 2024, Monroe
Paityn seems to be at her best in a fast-paced transition game. She can push the ball to give her teammates good looks at a quick scoring opportunity. Her high IQ in the game allows her to reposition on the perimeter for a shot or take a defender off the dribble. She has continued getting better and improving on her game.
Christian Brooks-Moore, 5-11 2024, Chaminade Julienne
This kid wants the ball in her hands. She is confident and comfortable on the floor, and you can tell she is flat out tough out there. Christian finishes hard at the basket while being able to use her body and not shy away from contact. She has a bright future and will be a key offensive threat on any team.
Addie Ryan, 5-11 2024, Dayton Carroll
Ryan will battle in the paint for you. You better box her out on the offensive boards. She is strong and wants the ball for easy finishes and put backs around the rim. She posts up hard on the block and you can tell she has been working on finishes with both hands around the rim.
Jordyn Smoot Jordyn Smoot 5'9" | CG Springfield Catholic | 2024 State OH , 5-9 2024, Springfield Catholic Central
She continues to work on her game every day. Jordyn (pictured left) is gaining more confidence as the summer and fall progresses as she knows she will be a key part of the Catholic Central success. One of the most athletic sophomores in the building last weekend, she can hurt a defense in many ways. Anticipates the ball well, can create turnovers and capitalize.
Jonilyah Chambers Jonilyah Chambers 5'7" | SG Wayne | 2024 OH , 5-8 2024, Trotwood Madison
Chambers (feature photo) is a physical player nobody would want to be matched up against. She will give you the pressure on the defensive end and not give you much room to even think about you next move on offense. Her ability to create contact and use her body when attacking lets her get to the rim or make a slick pass to her teammate. The way she passes the ball and plays the game is fun to watch!
