In this article, we’ll be discussing the No. 23-25 on our list, three must-watch players for this coming season.
No. 23: Grace Soltes Grace Soltes 6'1" | PF West Morris | 2022 State NJ – 6-1 PF, West Morris
Soltes has put in work this summer with United NJ AAU and it has continued to pay off dividends for her as she is undoubtedly one of the best forwards in the state.
She has great agility for a forward and she’s started to expand her range more, hitting a few three-pointers in the spring. The more she’s able to add the midrange game and even an outside game to her repertoire, that is going to benefit her big time on offense.
Averaging a double-double for the first time in her career, Soltes has also put an added emphasis on her defense, and with nearly three blocks a game in the spring, she’s more than developed into an elite shot-blocker.
No. 24: Eniya Scott Eniya Scott 5'6" | PG Bayonne | 2022 State NJ – 5-6 PG, Bayonne
Scott’s and Bayonne’s season was abbreviated last season as they were only able to play eight games, but in those eight games, she showed just why she’s a superstar on the floor.
We have seen a dip in production from her freshman season, but what stands out when looking at Scott is her passing, one of the best passers in the HCIAL, and a great perimeter shooter.
This is a player who can hit multiple threes a game and can change the dynamic of the game on a dime, so expect Scott to get back to her impressive levels of production in her senior season for Bayonne.
No. 25: Triniti Haskins Triniti Haskins 5'10" | SG East Orange | 2022 State NJ – 5-10 SG, East Orange
Haskins might have had her best all-around season in the spring with East Orange, scoring nearly 20.0 PPG as a junior, and she’s remained a balanced, all-around player who has double-double potential and can shoot well from the perimeter.
She eclipsed her previous high in the three-point category, hitting 1.5 threes a game as a junior with an effortless shooting motion and quick release. Playing off-ball has also freed her up to attack the lane more on both sides of the ball.
Her defense is an underrated part of her game, but Haskins has consistently averaged several steals a game and over a block a game throughout her high school career, but her senior season could be a big one on the defensive end.
