Mia Singstock Mia Singstock 5'9" | SF Pinnacle | 2024 State AZ is a five-foot-nine combo guard for Pinnacle High School and Arizona elite, her club team. Last season she averaged 14.1 points per game as s freshman along with 5.6 rebounds while shooting 48% from the floor and 40% from behind the arc. The Pioneers play in the very competitive 6A Desert Valley Conference. Mia is considered the sixth-best prospect among those in the pass of 2024.
One scout had this evaluation of Mia’s game. “She makes an impact on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. She does the little hustle things for her team that doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet. She will also contain any opponent that she comes across She also shoots the ball very well from three-point range and has the ability to create her own shots on the open floor.” Now a sophomore, she is ready for a breakout year.
Abigail Dean Abigail Dean 5'6" | CG Pinnacle | 2024 State AZ is a five-foot-six combo guard for Boulder Creek High School and West Coast elite, her grassroots team. She had 29 points in her freshman debut, hitting 5 of 7 three-points and shooting 12 for 17 overall. Abby also had four steals and four assists in the win over Liberty Dean. WCE won the spring SoCal Under 15 tournament and Abby played in a number of summer competitions for her club team.
Her former coach, Noah Barofski, commented on her game. “Abby can play point or shooting guard with equal effectiveness. She is a strong two-way guard who is an aggressive scorer and a tremendous outside three-point shooter. As a freshman, she was selected as All-Region second Team in the 6A Desert Valley Conference. The sophomore now has the opportunity for an outstanding season.
Maureen Ulrich Maureen Ulrich 5'8" | SF Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ is a five-foot-eight guard for Xavier College Prep as we;; as her club team, the Arizona Rebels. Last season Xavier finished 13-4 and 6-2 in their conference. Playing in all 17 games, Maureen averaged 3.4 points per game and 3.5 rebounds. Her team lost to state champion Valley Vista in the state championship game, 54-46. She performed well with the Arizona rebels in a number of summer competitions.
Lady Gators Head Coach Jennifer Gillom commented on her game. “Maureen helped us, particularly on defense. She is starting to turn into a good player for us. Her work ethic is impeccable.” One scout talked about her game. “She is as competitive and physical as they come. She can handle, shoot and defend and be easily classified as a combination guard. No doubt that with a lot of effort over the next few years, she will become a legitimate college prospect.”
Madison Brown Madison Brown 5'11" | SF Desert Vista | 2024 State AZ is a five-foot-ten guard/wing for Desert Vista High School and her club team, Arizona Elite. She averaged 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds as a freshman. One scout talked about her game.”She can hit the spot-up three with ease. She is also very active inside and finds ways to get open for easy jumpers. She is a strong rebounder. Defensively, she is solid as a one-on-one defender and can slide over to provide help and block shots. Overall, her ability is high on the charts.”
Another scout had this to say about Madison’s game. “She is coming on strong lately and her confidence has greatly improved over the last three months. She now feels more comfortable in the perimeter and is not afraid to mix it up in the paint.” With many players back for 2022, Desert Vista has an opportunity to go deep into the state tournament.
