Madison Cross, 5’10”, SF, Lee’s Summit West, 2025 – In my mind I picture Cross as problem power forward in time. She has length, good size, and an ability to hit the mid-range jumper off the catch. I really liked her hands rolling off her screen to snag the quick pass and finish without batting an eye. Watch continued development in athleticism and speed.
Korrie Holcer, 5’6″, SG/PG, Meadville, 2024 – Holcer showed herself to be one of the top perimeter shooters of the event. Liked her good first step left to create. As her quickness and handles off the bounce grow she will yield more opportunities from behind the arc.
Misora Nambara, 5’3″, Republic, 2024 – I enjoyed seeing Nambara for the first time since April. Her quickness is deceiving on both ends of the floor because of how in control she plays. Take the ball up the floor against a defender with aggression, ease up, defender relaxes, pop the three or go to the hole to finish or drop a dime. Impacts a game the moment she steps on the floor.
Averie White, 5’4″, PG, Lee’s Summit West, 2025 – One slick move told me a great deal about White’s ability. Driving baseline right to left, she finished with a under-the-basket scoop at speed. Creativity, speed, athleticism, scoring ability, and court awareness all in one play.
Delainey Wylie, 6’3″, C, Kickapoo, 2023 – Admittedly I did not get a extended look but what I liked about Wylie was how well she jumped to the rebound and got the ball out following a defensive board.
