PGH Ohio Expo Dabbs All-2024 Team
Ella Kirby Ella Kirby 5'8" | SG Portsmouth Notre Dame | 2024 OH , 5-8 Portsmouth Notre Dame
Young but a very intelligent player for her age. Ella (pictured left) is able to utilize her best skills to create opportunities for her team. She is a solid guard with good court vision and can make plays for her team. A strong physical player who can make things happen through contact. She also has the skills to hurt you from the perimeter with good range.
Sinai Douglas Sinai Douglas 5'7" | PG Toledo Start | 2024 State OH , 5-6 Toledo Start
The most talented 2024 on the day, she showed her ability to be a major next level player. The sky is truly the limit for her, she has all the skills to be in the All-American conversation. She is explosive, a great passer and can do it all on the court. Can put the ball on the floor and score on anyone, has slick handles and plays exceptional defense. Plays for Sports City U in the summer. (feature photo above)
Airah Lavy Airah Lavy 5'10" | SF Nelsonville York | 2024 State OH , 5-10 Nelsonville York
Was the best player at the SCOH50 event earlier in the summer, and she leaves this event as one of the top five ’24s I saw in my games. Was impressed more with her defensive game last weekend, able to create turnovers and plays with fire to make plays happen. Good rebounder, strong hands and will torch a defense from the perimeter. Stock continuing to rise. (pictured right)
Gracie Groves, 6-0 Marysville
One of the things I liked the most about Gracie (pictured left) was her versatility to make plays for her team both inside and outside. Moves well for a taller player, has good footwork and can defend multiple positions on the floor. Never stops playing hard, a kid who I would want on my team because of her grit. She just keeps getting better.
Layla Merriweather Layla Merriweather 5'6" | CG Olentangy Berlin | 2024 OH , 5-6 Olentangy Berlin
She plays bigger than her size, is able to mix it up around the rim without fear. Good footwork in the paint and she possesses quality ball control, can get past her defender and score at the rim. Can play in an uptempo style game and will force defenders to play on her while she scores or makes the pass for an easy bucket. (pictured right)
