That said, what has been impressive about numerous athletes from this class is their comfort in playing against older competition. Many of them had the opportunity to play a significant role on a roster filled with upperclassmen and performed at a high level. Out of this group, no one has had a more substantial impact on her team, considering the degree of difficulty, than Bay State Jaguars forward Kaelyn Carroll Kaelyn Carroll 6'2" | SF Tabor Academy | 2025 State NewE .

When I watched film of Carroll from over the summer and saw how she gels with the Jaguars 17U National team, i couldn’t help but admire how she can have elite #1 talent and also the willingness to fulfill a role for her team that puts them in a position to win. Caroll can be used in so many ways. She can play 3-4 spots on the floor, be a knockdown spot-up shooter, and have the skill set and mental acumen to be the focal point of a team.
Outside of her skill, Carroll is the top prospect because she is the number 1 building block of the ‘25 class. If Carroll is your best player and you surround her with much lesser talent, does she have the skill, versatility, and intangibles to overcome that and lead her team to victory? The answer is yes. Her combination of size, shooting accuracy, and IQ is head and shoulders above anyone on this list at the moment, and she is still growing as a player physically and mentally. Carroll can make up for the deficiencies and weaknesses of the team. Need a player to run the offense through? Carroll has got that covered. If your team is lacking size and needs a player to provide some punch down low? I trust Carroll to come through in that regard also. If you are the best player, you can adapt to different situations even if they are not necessarily in your favor. No one one makes that adjustment more seamlessly than Carroll.
