Jeta North (pictured above) was effective sealing off her opponents in the paint making sure her guards had the best opening to give her a pass and score. She made herself a nuisance on defense grabbing steals and pushing it up the court herself showing off a nice jump stop from the block to put up her shot. Even with her height, she finds ways to sneak behind the defense and grab a pass to score.
Madison Owen is a good ball handler knowing how to get to the hoop and finish at the rim. She battles through contact making sure the opponents have to foul to try to stop her. She sees the floor well knowing as the point guard to move her body to make the most effective entry pass to her teammates.
Emma Montanari runs the floor well finishing at the rim in transition. She showed off her range shooting from deep, and she was a tenacious defender playing at the top of the key knocking the ball away from her opponents.
Mackenzie Ortschied is strong in the paint battling for rebounds, and she knows exactly how to put back up offensive boards making her opponents pay on multiple occasions. She can step back and show off her range shooting the ball, or she can put her head down and drive from the top of the key.
Marlee Whitten showed off her ability to grab some boards and put it right back up on the offensive side. She had a nice up and under move that she used to get by her opponents and score. These athletes are definitely playing with high IQs beyond their years.
