Laney Shook (Team Peak, 2026, pictured above) does a nice job going after rebounds. She relocates well to show off her shot, and she follows shots in order to get second chances. She can certainly drive the ball or step back for a jumper. She can shoot from deep as well showing off her range and versatility all over the court. Her hands are constantly in the way for her opponents when she’s on defense using her length to its full advantage. She can even battle in the paint showing off post moves to score.
Lyla Bagwell (Carolina Waves, 2026) controls the tempo of the game bringing it up the court. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates or driving down the lane showing off a nice floater in the paint. She knew how to be effective moving herself to make the best pass to her teammates.
Lauren Sizemore (Carolina Waves, 2026) was a solid forward with ball handling moves that allowed her to drive from wherever she was on the court. She didn’t shy away from contact underneath the basket either. She snuck behind the defense as well making sure to fill the gaps and making some easy points for her team.
Amyah Lynn (Carolina Waves, 2026) is an aggressive ball handler knowing exactly how to put her head down and get to the rim. She has a nice between the legs crossover that seems to throw off her opponents no matter who is guarding her. She had a nice floater in the paint that she showed off. Her aggressive play shows up on defense making sure her opponents don’t have an easy lane to drive the ball.
Charlotte Tune (Carolinas Select, 2026) was tenacious on defense grabbing the steal and pushing it up the court. She had a nice Euro step to get by her defenders and finished at the rim on the fast break. She showed some nice old fashioned three point plays battling through contact. She makes smart decisions in transition driving the ball quickly and finding her open teammates making a cut for the basket. She is shifty knowing how to move her body to get her teammates the best entry pass.
Tillie Carver (Team Peak, 2027) was strong inside on the offensive glass putting it back up for her own points. She showed off a nice fake and drive to the hoop battling through contact. She is sneaky getting behind the defense in an open area for some easy points.
Blair Haines (Team Peak, 2027) seems to be all over the court crashing the boards, driving the ball, constantly moving around on defense making it difficult for opponents to get a play going. She has a nice jump shot and knows how to find the gaps on defense. Her versatility allows her to see the floor well.
