EXPOSED Get Or Be 2026 Top Performers
In this article:
I had a chance to cover an Individual Showcase in the area a week ago and saw plenty of talent, many of which will eventually be on my Top 100 list as well as many showing me they have the potential to play somewhere at the next level. I’ll start with the 2026 group and drop some others later
Brittney Anderson (Legacy School Of Sport Sciences)
Anderson is explosive off the dribble and her ability to finish after contact truly impresses yet she also creates her shot in the set to drop the jumper and as explosive as she is off the dribble, the same could be said for how she elevates for her jumper which she knocks down consistently
Grace Wehring (Second Baptist)
Wehring brings an array of offensive skills to the table and as good as she is now, the table hasn’t been completely set because she understands something very important and that is “she finds ways to put the ball in the basket” so when you factor in she’ll grow and get stronger, just watch
Aniya Brannon (Victory Lakes)
Brannon was one of many athletic players that added intangibles to that particular profile so her slicing to the rim and finishing however she wanted was nice, so was her handling the ball and seeing the floor under pressure yet with her speed and ability to apply baseline to baseline pressure, not to leave out her jumper …
Tycee Thibeaux (Pearland Junior HS)
Thibeaux was one of many not only athletic players but “long and athletic” so her playing cornerback and coming up with steals galore told me a lot immediately so that as well as her defense, yes she applies pressure on defense but she also showed she could handle the ball and score multiple ways as well as see the floor
Ehryn Latin (Pearland (Junior HS)
Latin is also “long and athletic” and she too showed she could handle the ball under pressure yet with her long strides in the open court, she got to the rim with ease while being defended but she also did a good job of creating her shot in the half-court with a deceptive first step as well as multiple ways to handle the ball
Madisen Moten (Dr. Ronald McNair Junior HS)
Moten was yet another “long and athletic” player that plays within herself and scored in the flow however she’s “heady” and comprehends the game, that’s a huge plus and showed she could score under pressure in fact she also came away with some big defensive plays in the clutch
Draden Moss Draden Moss 6'0" | SG Houston Memorial | 2026 State TX (Spring Branch MS)
Moss is, you guessed it, “long and athletic” with some scary upside because she understands how to score in a variety of ways. Factor in her length as she extends attacking the rim as well as on the jumper and she can get either off whenever she wants but her “scoring mindset” is something you can’t teach as her mid to long-range is going to create some problems
Jahnae Nickerson (Woodridge Forest MS)
Nickerson is, nm, I’m not going to say “long and athletic” again, well I guess I did but her handling of the ball going a hunnid baseline to baseline was overly impressive and her finishing after contact just did it, well so did the jumper as well as seeing her play the passing lane
Averi Steele (Spillane MS)
Steele understands how to call for the ball and finish after she gets it but her upside is what I’m really looking at because she has the body, she plays as if she’s 6’0 even though she’s not quite there yet but her battling for everything, her finishing strongly as well as sold moves around the basket not to leave out she can score off the dribble are all very nice
Honorable Mention
Mira Johnson (Hogg MS)
Shelby Totorci (Friendswood Junior High)
Lilah Yanover (EKHLA)
Mary Helen Turner (SBMS)
