Here are some shooters that I saw at the event:
Please read previous coverage of the Hankamp Hoops Open Run below:
Zion Belcher-Arill Zion Belcher-Arill 6'2" | PF Campbell Hall | 2025 CA (2025, Grand Rapids Christian)
Let’s just say it, Belcher-Arill has the potential to be a big time prospect. Her height and strength, combined with a pure looking jumper like hers, is going to be a nightmare for her opponents throughout high school. Belcher-Arill is basically a constant threat to shoot and score.
Sydney Gorman Sydney Gorman 5'8" | SG Fort Wayne Wayne | 2024 State IN (2024, Wayne)
Gorman has a high arcing shot that’s really tough for a defender to close out on. She was solid shooting it off the catch, not ever taking a prep dribble after receiving the pass. Gorman looks like she can really groove her shot too.
Aliyah Hershberger Aliyah Hershberger 5'6" | CG Mishawaka Marian | 2023 IN (2023, Concord)
Hershberger was very comfortable with her jumper at the Hankamp Hoops Open Run. She was able to hit triples from the corners and the wings, as well as off both the dribble and the catch.
Sabrina Miller (2024, Northridge)
Miller was very well rounded and diverse in the manner in which she scored at the event, but she definitely showed 3 point range. I was impressed with her quiet confidence in her shot.
Ella Mohamed Ella Mohamed 5'6" | SG Northridge | 2025 IN (2025, Northridge)
Mohamed should have the eyes of college coaches. She does a lot of things really well, and shooting the ball is definitely one of them. She’s smart with the ball and always seems t find ways to get open looks at the rim.
Kyndra Sheets Kyndra Sheets 5'6" | PG Columbia City | 2024 State IN (2024, Columbia City)
Sheets ran the floor well and shot the ball with consistency. She did a nice job using numbers in the open floor to get good looks at the rim. Sheets was able to hit jumpers from both mid range and from behind the arc.
Lillian Tolmen Lillian Tolmen 5'8" | SF South Central (Union Mills) | 2023 IN (2023, South Central)
Tolmen is a really silky smooth type guard. She played very well off of screens, both finding her teammates and getting looks for herself. Tolmen was able to pull up off the dribble and knock down her jumper.
Avery Vogel (2023, Paw Paw)
Vogel had a really solid morning at the Hankamp Hoops Open Run. She scored at multiple levels, including from behind the arc. I really like Vogel as a lead guard that initiates with the pass, and having the threat to bury a 3 like she did Sunday will make her a problem for opposing defenses.
