However, there were a few that I saw that really separated themselves and stood out amongst the competition. I call this group the “standout performers” of the weekend.
#129 Taryn Crawford Taryn Crawford 6'0" | PF Edmond Santa Fe | 2023 State OK (2023): Taryn was one of the best (if not the best) players I saw this weekend at the Prep Hoops Top 250. She is a crafty forward who is also a knockdown shooter. Her IQ and poise allow her to see plays before they happen. Taryn is a matchup nightmare for her opponents.
#90 Allison Heathcock Allison Heathcock 6'0" | SG Edmond North | 2024 State OK (2024): Allison was extremely impressive on the weekend with her ability to be lights out from behind the arc. It seemed as if whether or not the defense is there if it left her hands it’s going in. Allison also showed that she’s not one-dimensional, grabbing a ton of offensive and defensive rebounds.
#78 Selah Harmon (2025): Youth was not an issue for Selah Harmon. Selah is an exceptional talent and made play after play on the weekend, carving up defenses and making plays for her teammates. Selah is a really good shooter off the catch as well. I am excited to see what the future holds for Selah.
#51 Jayda Holiman Jayda Holiman 5'6" | PG McAlester | 2023 State OK (2023): Jayda is a crafty left-handed playmaker who stood out on the weekend. One word to describe Jayda would be “BUCKET”. It doesn’t matter where and it doesn’t matter when, you can count on Jayda to score with efficiency. Not only can she score but she plays with a passion that cannot be taught.
