Before going over the film, I wanted to state some performers that were clear and obvious top performers in the event.
Let’s see who showed some obvious talent:
McKenna Murphy McKenna Murphy 5'11" | SG Elkhart North | 2024 State NE showed a complete and revamped game and complete offensive skill-set. She was super smooth shooting and handling the ball. She had a stop and turn-around jumper that got people talking. Rebounded very well, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Made some incredible passes as well.
Molly Ladwig Molly Ladwig 5'9" | CG Omaha Skutt Catholic | 2025 State NE played with another level of skill with the ball than anyone else. She was confidentiality and easily handling the ball, wrapping it behind her back at speed. Seems like she’s gaining strength in her frame.
Rylee McLucas Rylee McLucas 6'0" | SF Millard North | 2025 State NE was playing both ends, blocking shots and hitting threes all event. Her three-point making was evident and consistent from game to game.
Jaeden Webb Jaeden Webb 5'9" | SG Lincoln Northeast | 2023 State NE was a huge playmaker, getting up and down the court, and hitting a ton of threes. She played with an evident speed about her.
Nicky Huss Nicky Huss 6'1" | PF Duchesne Academy | 2023 State NE was being talked about for her performance at her 6’1 frame. She showed some versatility, being able to play on the outside and hit shots. She rebounded the ball well.
Sarah Gatwech is a superbly-long and athletic wing type that has a long euro that was very effective.
Jordan Metzler Jordan Metzler 5'7" | SG Wakefield | 2024 State NE is a competitor and plays with high energy. She starting catching fire from deep and had a solid tandem with her Nebraska Attack teammate McKenna Murphy McKenna Murphy 5'11" | SG Elkhart North | 2024 State NE . They shared and scored the ball.
Mazzi Melton Mazzi Melton 5'8" | SG Bennington | 2022 State NE was a clear top performer and she was making plays on both ends with her energy and competitiveness.
Mya Montoya Mya Montoya 5'5" | SG Lincoln Southeast | 2025 NE was consistently knocking down threes. Got into the lane and was an overall threat.
Maya Dolliver really impressed me with her handles and ability to get into the lane, make plays, and pass the ball.
Makenna Lesiak Makenna Lesiak 5'9" | SF Pius X | 2023 State NE came out early and often, being an aggressive scorer and making the defense respect her off the dribble and being a scoring threat.
Mya Skoff Mya Skoff 5'11" | CG Bellevue East | 2023 State NE got herself going scoring the ball, getting to the hoop and putting it off the glass for two.
Nyaluak Dak Nyaluak Dak 6'2" | C Lincoln Southeast | 2024 State NE stood-out with her shear size and ability to rebound the ball over everyone. Was protecting the paint at a high level.
Addison Sullivan Addison Sullivan 6'1" | SF Blair | 2025 State NE is an up-and-coming prospect for Blair that performed at a high level scoring, hitting threes, and rebounding the ball.
Sierra Thomas Sierra Thomas 6'0" | PF Omaha South | 2026 State NE was a new prospect to me and she showed some clear upside with her frame and athleticism. She was long and moved well.
A'yanna Hill is a young prospect that showed some incredible overall speed and quickness with the ball.
Willavena Tokporo Willavena Tokporo 5'11" Mercy | 2022 NE is a 5’11 2022 with length that found ways to score the ball. She’ll be added to the rankings and she did well for herself.
Ellie McCarville Ellie McCarville 5'9" | CG Millard North | 2023 State NE was skilled with the ball and played with a confidence about her.
