Alyssa Staten Alyssa Staten 6'4" | C Statesboro | 2024 State GA I 6’4 I 2024 I Statesboro
Staten brings a strong inside presence to the Lady Devils. She has a soft touch around the rim and knows how to finish through contact. Staten is a special talent that will play a huge role for her team this upcoming season. She has turned heads from her play this summer and it’s hard to believe that she is just a sophomore. All eyes will be on Staten as she has the potential to be one of the top players in the Region and State.
Bailey Gilmore Bailey Gilmore 6'3" | PF Bradwell Institute | 2023 State GA I 6’3 I 2023 I Bradwell
Gilmore’s stock grew from her strong play over the summer. She has really expanded her game with her ability to play any position on the floor. Has the ability to guard all 5 positions and can stretch the defense with her ability to shoot the 3. She has worked in the offseason to get stronger which will allow her to battle inside. Gilmore joins a talented young Bradwell Institute Team as they try to compete for a Region Championship. She is also in the running for Player of the Year for Region 2-AAAAAA. She has offers from all college levels.
Shane Jackson I 6’3 I 2023 I Brunswick
Jackson is a silent sleeper. She does so much for her team. With her size, she is able to deter a lot of shots in the paint. Always catches the ball high and scores through contact. Runs rim to rim and sees the court well in transition. One of the top rebounders in her region. With her presence inside, it will help free up some open shots for her teammates on the perimeter.
Jada Young Jada Young 5'11" | PF Long County | 2023 State GA I 5’11 I 2023 I Long County
Young has transformed her game to be able to score at will inside. She is a little undersized but does not let that keep her from scoring over bigger defenders. Young used the offseason to get stronger and attend numerous exposure camps. Her experience of playing with against top talent has allowed her to be seen by numerous college coaches. She has the ability to play inside/out. Young had numerous 20 point plus games and will be called upon to help her Long County team compete for a Region Championship and a State Playoff Appearance.
Shamya Flanders I 5’10 I Brunswick
Flanders was all Region 2-AAAAAA First Team a year ago but will be looking to be in the running for Region Player of the Year. Extremely athletic post that has developed her game inside at the rim. Has the ability to step out and hit the high post shot but rebounds well in traffic. Flanders will be the key to her team making a deep run in the playoffs and competing for a region championship.
Allejah Moultry Allejah Moultry 6'1" | C Beach | 2022 State GA I 6’2 I 2022 I Beach
Moultry does all the little things that may not show up on the stat sheet. Has the ability to step out and shoot the 3 ball. Knows how to rebound the ball at its highest point and is always looking for her teammates in transition for the outlet. Moultry knows how to find her spots inside which creates easy scoring opportunities for her. She will be leading a young Beach team this year with hopes of getting back to a State Championship.
Brianna Pelote Brianna Pelote 6'2" | C Woodville-Tompkins | 2024 State GA I 6’2 I 2024 I Woodville Tompkins
Pelote joins a talented roster at Woodville Tompkins which will have the opportunity to compete for a State Championship. Pelote knows how to battle through contact. She plays with so much energy on both ends of the floor. Developed a lot by playing over the summer at some top exposure tournaments. She is a game-changer that does all the things for her team to be successful.
