Washington’s 2023 class has several college prospects for multiple levels of college. There is some decent depth at the position and every point guard on the list remains available as of November 2nd, 2021. This is part one of a two part series.

5’5 point guard Malia Samuels Malia Samuels 5'5" | PG Garfield | 2023 State #46 Nation WA (Garfield HS) reigns at the top of this list as the top point guard in the state and one of the better PGs on the west coast. Samuels has all the tools athletically and plays with great drive and tempo. Her jumpshot is solid and she can hit the pull-up or step back off the bounce. A really good player in transition!

5’7 point guard Hope Hassmann Hope Hassmann 5'7" | PG Tahoma | 2023 State WA (Tahoma HS) is a fundamentally sound prospect that plays under control and has an all around good feel for the game. She can handle versus pressure and makes good reads in pick and roll situations. Hassmann plays with great joy for the game and has several colleges recruiting her.

5’6 point guard Navaeh Talbert Navaeh Talbert 5'6" | PG Garfield | 2023 State WA (Garfield HS) is a steady presence at the point guard position. She handles versus pressure with ease and can knock down the midrange pull-up or
