Jayleen Nunez Jayleen Nunez 5'4" | PG The Kings Academy | 2025 State FL
Nunez, aka JJ is a player we have followed for the last 3 years since she moved from New Jersey. She is a big, skilled guard who has an advanced skill set and a high basketball IQ. Her athleticism is what will dictate where she falls in the rankings and how impactful of a player she is at the varsity level and beyond. The game at times can get too fast for her but in the half court setting she is very effective as a ball handler and decision maker. It will be interesting to see her role with American Heritage Delray with the big 3 ( Jordana Codio Jordana Codio 6'1" | SF Montverde Academy | 2022 State FL , Khadee Hession Khadee Hession 5'10" | CG St Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL , and Alancia Ramsey Alancia Ramsey 6'0" | PF St Thomas Aquinas | 2023 State FL ) all transferring out.
Naomi Parker Naomi Parker 5'8" | PG Berkeley Prep | 2025 State FL (Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Elite) – 5’8 PG
Parker is a big, young point guard who has a super high ceiling. I got a chance to lay eyes on her this summer with the talented Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Elite squad in Orlando. Parker was effective as a scorer both attacking the rim and knocking down open perimeter shots. She has great size and athleticism with tremendous upside. She is definitely a player to watch in the future!
Angelina Deleon Angelina Deleon 5'8" | PG Doral Academy | 2025 State FL
Deleon is a 5’8 guard with a solid combination of elite athleticism and a high motor. She jumps right off the page in warmups when you walk in the gym and backs it up with her play. She is a high energy player who plays with a ton of passion and covers alot of ground on the court. She can score the ball off the dribble, in transition, and from behind the 3 point line. Not just an offensive player, she enjoys the defensive side of the ball and is a lockdown defender, often matching up against the opposing teams point guard or best player.
This is the first release of the class of 2025. We have taken a look at players performance and potential with both their High School and Travel teams. If there is a player that not included in the rankings or you feel is not ranked properly, please email us at WholeyPrepHoops@gmail.com and include Name, Height, Position, HS, Travel team, any stats available and any video available. Our goal is to cover the entire state, but we are well aware that we have not seen everyone in the state and those that we have seen, we have not seen all of them equally the same amount of time and games. We have done our best to rank the players based on what we have seen personally. Our next updated ranking will be released in January of 2022.
