This is the time frame that NCAA Division 1 signees will sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to their chosen college. NCAA Division 2 signees will also be able to sign an NLI as of November 10 and anytime before August 1, 2022. The regular signing period for NCAA Division 1 players will take place April 13, 2022 to May 18, 2022.
Washington’s class of 2022 moved at a record slow pace with commitments, but it has mostly taken shape by now. A handful of girls that would likely be signing at this time of year will not be due to a shortage of college scholarships available and the NCAA’s changing landscape with players being able to freely transfer without having to sit out.
