The Hoopin In The Ville Classic finished up this past weekend at Hartsville HS. The first-year event featured 12 teams throughout the Palmetto State. Let’s take a look at some POST players from the event which was sponsored by Prep Girls Hoops and Swanny’s Roundball Review.

Jambor and her Lady Stag teammates went home with a (0-2) record this weekend. Peighton has a GREAT SET OF HANDS in the paint. Jambor has a good skill level and footwork around the rim. Peighton can step-out and knockdown the perimeter jumper along with filling the lane in transition. She does a really job of altering and challenging shots on the defensive end of the floor.
Peighton moves effortlessly from side to side and block to block while finishing with a nice jump-hook for good measure.

[player_tooltip player_id="235090" first="Nadia" last="Burns"] (2023) - Legion Collegiate (Rock Hill)
Burns is best suited around the paint to give her Lady Lancers team production. Nadia will play the game with a blue-collar mentality and doesn’t mind playing on contact. Nadia will rebound the ball on both ends of the floor at a good clip.

Montyaja Isaac (2023) - Marlboro County HS (Bennettsville)
Issac nicknamed "Juice" really looked to work for position down low in the paint. Montyaja showed to have a nice touch on the foul line with her shot. Isaac logged a lot of minutes for the Lady Bulldogs in the post. This was the first time seeing her play. Isaac will be a building block for Head Coach Leah Zimmerman moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id="355170" first="Tatiana" last="Fisher"] (2024) - Hartsville HS
Prep Girls Hoops first saw Fisher play a few years back. Fisher is the sister of former Red Foxes basketball Tre Hannibal now attending Murray State University. Tatiana plays with her back to the basket and doesn’t mind banging around in the paint. Fisher keeps the ball up high after rebounding it. Fisher was able to finish over her left shoulder while clogging up the paint at times.
