Breakout Player(s):
Millie Brown Millie Brown 5'7" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2022 State TN – This 5’7 PG plays the game fast and with poise. She has a high basketball IQ that puts her in the right spot at the right time. Offensively, she is a multi-level scoring threat who can dish the ball with the best of them. Her unselfish play is the backbone behind a lethal Lady Eagles attack. On the defensive end, she gets after it. Jumping passes and poking balls away from opponents, her defensive prowess leads to transition breaks. The UNC- Asheville got a steal for the future of their women’s program.
Trinity Fields Trinity Fields 5'3" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2023 State TN – The 5’5 guard is quick on her feet. She can shoot the rock, but loves to attack downhill. She is a constant defensive threat, which helps her team grab easy buckets. Don’t let her size fool you. Trinity is a tough competitor and will cause havoc throughout the full length of the game.
Top Newcomers:
Annie Buisson Annie Buisson 5'6" | PG Brentwood Academy | 2024 State TN – The 5’7 sophomore is a gym rat. Plays the game with her heart on her sleeve. This fiery floor general will add some spark to the Lady Eagles’ attack. She has had a great mentor in Millie to where their games are similar. A multi-level scorer who is unselfish and delivers the ball to her teammates on time. An exciting prospect that will be a lynchpin for the Lady Eagles attack for the next few years.
Kayla Dunlap– This 5’11 freshman comes from good stock. Blessed with size and impressive footwork, look for this young lady to contribute early in her career. She has a great floor presence and has learned a plethora of moves that will enable her to put the ball in the hole. Defensively, she is a shot blocker and collects boards. As she gains confidence, look for her to be a force inside.
