Camillea Gore Camillea Gore 6'0" | SG Heathwood Hall | 2025 State SC – Heathwood Hall (pictured on front)
Gore already has good size for her age while playing in the backcourt for the Highlanders. Camillea scored 19 points while making three from behind the arc in a win over Pinewood Prep on Saturday. Gore plays the game extremely active in the passing lanes picking up deflections and easy baskets going the other direction. Camillea handles the rock well for her size and can extend out to the wing with her jump shot. She looks to be part of the future for Head Coach Brionna Zimmerman and Highlanders basketball program moving forward.
Courtney Campbell Courtney Campbell 5'8" | PG Hilton Head Prep | 2025 State SC – Hilton Head Prep
Campbell plays the game like a classy veteran at times while on the floor. Courtney new to the Palmetto State after moving down from Ohio is a welcome addition to the 2025 class. Campbell has a nice mid-game pull-up and isn’t afraid to sacrifice her body for a charge on command it seems. Campbell came into the weekend averaging 19.3 ppg, 5 rebounds and 3.3 assists for the Lady Dolphins. She is another solid player to watch down in the Lowcountry in the years to come.
Rania Curry Rania Curry 5'11" | SG Butler | 2025 State GA – Augusta Christian (GA) – (Martinez, GA)
Curry is a physical guard for her age and shows GREAT body control to the basket. Rania overpowers defenders to the basket and especially in the open floor game. Curry has nice basketball IQ already for her age and skill set. Rania finished at the basket several times today with her left-hand. Curry is skilled enough to play almost every position on the floor at times. She brought the ball up the floor at times and even posted up down on the block. Curry came into the weekend averaging 11.2 ppg, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the Lady Lions.
Prep Girls Hoops South Carolina currently has 88 players in the 2025 database. Prep Girls Hoops won’t rank the 2025 Palmetto State until after the basketball season is over. The rankings for the 2025 Palmetto State will look to come out in Late March – early April 2022.
** FYI – Augusta Christian plays in the SCISA organization during the season. However Prep Girls Hoops and Prep Hoops keeps the players in their respective states according to where the school is located for ranking purposes.
