Kate Samson-2022-St. Gertrude
Strong post presence, she was able to have her way in the paint. Kate played through contact, rebounded well on both ends. Showed her ability to put ball on floor from foul line and finish at the rim. Kate knows where her Shooters are and is a good post passer.
Ava Fulkerson-2025-St. Gertrude
Confident freshman who can handle the ball and run a team. She was trouble for her opponent getting into the paint all game. As she continues to develop she will become craftier around the basket and increase her scoring. She pushes the ball and had a sweet behind tha back pass in transition.
Tori West-2024-Steward
She is the engine that makes the team go. She pushes the ball in transition with her head up, distributes to her scorers with strong passes. She has a nice hesitation which gets her into the paint. Guards length of court, keeps defender in front and active hands creates deflections and steals for team.
Meredith Atkinson-2023-Hanover
Meredith provided the spark for Hanover team struggling to get it going in first half. She was active defensively creating opportunities with steals and deflections. Coming off the bench in the 2nd half she made an immediate impact. She scored inside and out and was key for Hanover to pull away and get the win.
Kayla Terry-2022-Powhatan
Kayla shot the ball well, was aggressive offensively applying constant pressure on the defense. She handled the point guard duties, got teammates involved and her 3pt shooting helped her team take the lead in first half. Second half she looked to attack the basket more and finished with either hand.
Ah’kiyah Pye-2024-Highland Springs
Quick, floor general for young Highland Springs squad. Smooth ball handling skills, good footwork, she was able to get into the paint and finish or make nice passes to teammates. She didn’t back down from handling the pressure and communicated well to get her team in position. Her athleticism was on display with crafty finishes at the rim. She stepped up to hit some big 3s.
Zofia Enriquez-2024-Monacan
Zofia is athletic, fast and dangerous in transition. She got in the paint with ease and also shot well from 3 and midrange. She applies good ball pressure defensively and uses her quickness to get steals in passing lane.
Samara Brown-2025-Highland Springs
Young, raw and very athletic. Excellent offensive rebounder, very Bouncy and quick off the floor. She plays with a lot of energy, and plays solid defense protecting the paint. With experience and training she could develop into a nice prospect.
