India Mackin India Mackin 5'1" | PG Blue Hill | 2022 State NE – 5’1 PG 2022 – Blue Hill – India is a smaller point guard but she makes up for it in being highly skilled with the ball and shows good quickness. She’s a great passer on the perimeter, zipping the ball and moving it around quickly to get the defense moving. A three-point threat and takes care of the ball. The team’s leading scorer at 9.2 ppg.
Reece Mlady Reece Mlady 5'8" | SG Blue Hill | 2025 State NE – 5’8 G 2025 – Blue Hill – Reece is a Freshman starter, and her best skill might be her rebounding ability. She had an average of 9.5 rpg. at the six game mark. Moves well and athletically on the court, and can sky up for boards. A playmaking defender, with 3.2 steals per game. Has some solid skill with the ball, with her passing and ball security as strengths. Can go off the dribble and finish high off the glass going to her dominant left hand.
Abigail Meyer Abigail Meyer 6'1" | C Blue Hill | 2022 State NE – 6’1 C 2022 – Blue Hill – Has good size and playing strength, along with giving high effort and energy – consistently attacking the ball. Comes up with the ball a good amount of the time. A rim-protector and cleans up the boards, with an average of 8.5 rebounds a contest.
Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (10-1)
Olivia Hansen Olivia Hansen 5'10" | SG Maywood/Hayes Center | 2023 State NE – 5’10 G 2023 – Maywood/Hayes Center – Olivia is the team’s go-to player, scoring 20.0 ppg. Not a flashy scorer but gets the job done for her team, putting points up on the board. A consistent and accurate jumper, shooting 37% from three. She’s not one to leave open. Has 31 and 29 point games on the season for highs. Judging on film, she plays with a high IQ and understanding of the game. Makes great decisions with the ball and her passes, finding open holes in the defense. Makes plays on defense with an impressive 4.7 steals per game.
Alexis Wood Alexis Wood 5'9" | PF Maywood/Hayes Center | 2023 State NE – 5’9 F 2023 – Maywood/Hayes Center – Not a true post but is the inside presence and rebounding for her team, bringing down 7.4 rpg. Moves very well laterally and produces 3.4 stls. a contest.
Stevie Handsaker Stevie Handsaker 5'10" | PF Maywood/Hayes Center | 2022 State NE – 5’10 F 2022 – Maywood/Hayes Center – Stevie is the lone Senior and she produces like it. Plays hard, tough, and is active. Can’t really put a position on her. One of the type of players that finds ways to score.
Kiley Hejtmanek Kiley Hejtmanek 5'5" | CG Maywood/Hayes Center | 2023 State NE – 5’5 G 2023 – Maywood/Hayes Center – Plays point and handles the offense for Maywood/Hayes Center. Puts in 5.8 ppg., 4.2 rpg., 1.5 apg., and 3.1 stls. Low to the ground movement and moves with speed and power on the court. Handles and moves the ball around quickly.
Maddie Doyle Maddie Doyle 5'10" | C Maywood/Hayes Center | 2023 State NE – 5’10 C 2023 – Maywood/Hayes Center – Maddie is listed 5’9 on MAXPREPS but she looks taller than that. I only saw one game but Maddie is looking to progress as that true center. The more you watch, the more you will appreciate her game. Strong frame that gives effort.
