Last Monday, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana updated our rankings for the Class of 2025. As the Top-15 expanded to a Top-25, and the alphabetical watchlist moved from 60-65 prospects, we added 15 players to the total of 2025 prospects listed online. This class is still very young, and we are still learning about new prospects on a weekly basis. Below is a look at a handful of young ladies who have really stood out since our last rankings update.

Fishers | 2025
IN
– Fishers H.S.
It’s easy to get confused, as there are two players with the exact same name within a couple miles of each other, with the other being a Sophomore on Carmel’s team. This Ava, though, has found a role on a talented and perimeter-heavy Fishers squad. She is long, wiry-strong, and very bouncy. She glides around the floor almost effortlessly, and she’s just a playmaker who can attack the basket and finish, pull-up in the mid-range, or knock down the occasional 3-pointer as well. As she continues to get stronger and learn the nuances of the game, look for her to continue advancing her productivity each season.

– Sheridan H.S.
Kenzie has a ton of upside to her game, plus she looks like she still might have 2-3 inches left in her. She is somewhat slender right now, but she’s extremely long, fluid, and somewhat bouncy. She plays with a nice motor, and she is highly skilled in all areas of the floor. She can put it on the floor a little and get places productively, she has a nice-looking stroke and can stretch her range to the 3-point line, and she can be almost dominant at times scoring the ball in the mid-post. She is already averaging 18.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, so as she continues growing and gaining more strength, watch out!

Hamilton Southeastern | 2025
State
IN
– Hamilton Southeastern H.S.
Maya has undoubtedly been one of the more talented kids in Indiana’s 2025 class for some time now, but coming into Hamilton Southeastern as a Freshman, with a new head coach, a couple of experienced Seniors, and a strong Junior class, I figured she’d be involved but wasn’t sure to what extent. Well, she has consistently been their second leading scorer this season, averaging 14.8 points per game on a difficult schedule. She has great height and length, she’s a nice, fluid athlete, and she is a knockdown shooter with range. She’s another one who, with more strength, will only continue to blossom.

Castle | 2025
State
IN
– Castle H.S.
There aren’t too many people familiar with Jordan, and a lot of that likely has to do with the fact she’s down in the Southwest portion of the state. Jordan is a strong, compact, but quick, fast, and explosive athlete. She is strong with the ball, and you aren’t going to just take it from her, but she’s also quick and creative with it and can find open teammates. She can get downhill quickly and attack the basket, or she can pull up in the mid-range and finish. She’s also a capable perimeter shooter when in rhythm. She has already gotten solid playing time on a good Castle team with a lot of upperclassmen.

Lake Central | 2025
State
IN
– Lake Central H.S.
Vanessa is another dynamic young guard who is just a playmaker. She has really good length at her height, and she has elite speed and quickness. She is tremendous off the dribble and does a nice job of finding teammates or choosing when to shoot/score it herself. She can get gaps and put a lot of pressure on a defense, but she doesn’t force a lot inside either. Where I think she also stands out is as a ball hawk, because she can pressure the ball 84-feet and cause fits for opposing ball-handlers. She has started this season averaging 10.1 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.3 steals for a young but talented Lake Central team.
