Aniyah Scales Aniyah Scales 5'8" | CG Charlotte Catholic | 2023 State NC | Olympic | G | 2023
17 points // 5 rebounds // 3 assists // 2 steals // 4 blocks
Scales came right in driving hard to the basket using ball swings and Euro steps to get around her opponents to the hoop. Her game doesn’t need to be near the basket as she can shoot well from behind the arc. She was a nuisance on defense blocking shots on back to back possessions making sure her opponents didn’t have an easy basket.
Molly Burns Molly Burns 5'7" | CG Ardrey Kell | 2024 State NC | Ardrey Kell | G | 2024
10 points // 3 assists // 3 steals
Burns did well driving the ball hard to the basket. She sees the floor finding her open teammates for their own points, and she reads opponents while playing defense to jump into passing lanes grabbing steals. She does well sliding into the openings on defense to show off her shot.
Devin Long | Olympic | G | 2024
10 points // 7 rebounds // 3 assists // 5 steals
Long (pictured above) plays both ends of the court well grabbing steals and pushing them the other direction. She crashes the boards to grab rebounds, and she can certainly get to the hoop with her ball handling. She showed off her shot from deep as well.
Jaelin Register | Olympic | G | 2022
10 points // 6 rebounds // 3 steals
Register was instrumental in grabbing rebounds for her team. She did a nice job sneaking into the passing lanes of her opponents to grab some steals. She was sneaky on the offensive side of the ball finding the openings near the basket as she cut backdoor for some easy points finishing at the rim.
Alanis Diaz | Charlotte Catholic | G | 2022
7 points // 2 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 steal
Diaz sees the floor well controlling the ball for most of the game and finding ways to get entry passes into her post players. She shot well from behind the arc, and she was aggressive driving the ball, especially after grabbing steals to push up the court herself.
Laylah Toscano | Mallard Creek | G | 2025
4 points // 8 rebounds // 3 assists // 3 steals // 2 blocks
Toscano was contributing all over the court driving hard to the hoop, handling the ball from the top of the key, flashing in the paint to grab a pass and score, and get inside to rebound and block shots. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates for their own points.
