Mia Woolfolk Mia Woolfolk 6'2" | PF Manchester HS | 2024 State VA 6’2 Post Manchester HS
Manchester has a young team but they are very skilled with Mia as the leader and focal point. She scored a dominant 22 points (all in the paint) and 10 rebounds. She’s ranked as the number one player in her class so opposing teams will have to game plan to defend her!
Erin Edmonds Erin Edmonds 5'9" | CG Hopewell | 2025 State VA 5’9 SG Hopewell HS
The first game in the books for Erin’s high school career is started with a 54 -21 win over Phoebus. Erin went for 21 points 8 rebounds 5 steals 4 Assist. Erin is one of the top players in the state in her class and will have a large role on the team even as a freshman.
Erin Woodson Erin Woodson 5'11" | SG Saint Gertrude HS | 2023 State VA 5’11 SG Saint Gertrude
Erin was on a tear last week! Averaging roughly 26 points a game and her team went 3-0. Erin has proven that she’s probably the pure shooter in the 2023 class, also she looks more explosive off the dribble so her game is starting to develop full circle. As her game evolves this would nothing but help her a recruiting as she will continue to add to her offers that she has now.
Leyla Minor Leyla Minor 5'11" | SG Norview HS | 2025 State VA 5’8 CG Norview
This is why Norview can make a push for the state title. Already with two Division I players on the team now they have added a young freshman that is projected to be a division one player. With 25 points an named the MVP MABC Leyla was scoring from all over the court from three, left hand put backs and driving to the basket. Leyla has inserted herself as the third person of that big three!
Faith Henderson Faith Henderson 5'11" | SF Powhatan HS | 2022 State VA 5’11 forward Powhatan HS
Faith has already put her case in for all-metro first team! She dominated at three different positions on the court in one game! Scoring from the power forward, small forward and shooting guard. Scoring 29 points with a key injury of the bench she played the lion share of the minutes and did not disappoint.
Jemma Eleby Jemma Eleby 5'11" | PF Catholic | 2025 State VA 5’11 Wing/Forward First Colonial HS
It was a big day for the freshman putting up 37 points! It was a lopsided victory over Ocean Lakes but where I’m from 37 is 37 Jemma is already a proven player coming in as a top 10 player in the 25 class in the state. Still a young player with better competition coming her way let’s see if she can continue to be the leader on this team.
