Sophie Daugard Sophie Daugard 5'7" | SF Howell | 2023 State MI (SF, Howell)
Daugard has exploded onto the scenes this year. She’s shown the ability to get buckets and had a career high 26 point game earlier this season. Daugard provides another scoring option to a talented Howell squad.
Sydnie Gillett Sydnie Gillett 5'11" | SF Corunna | 2023 State MI (SF, Corunna)
Gillett has stormed back from a knee injury to have an absolutely terrific season so far. She’s been a high level scorer showing some underrated athleticism. Gillett has been hitting the glass with ferocity as well.
Elyssa Kincaid Elyssa Kincaid 5'11" | PF Riverview | 2023 State MI (PF, Riverview)
Kincaid has sent a huge message across the state. She has put up some simply staggering numbers. She’s been rebounding and scoring as well as almost anyone, possibly statewide. Kincaid is one of the most steady and versatile players that you’ll see.
Hailey Maulbetsch Hailey Maulbetsch 5'8" | SF Plymouth Christian | 2023 State MI (SF, Plymouth Christian)
Maulbetsch has been critical to her team’s success. She’s been solid offensively, adding another needed scoring option. If Maulbetsch plays well, the sky could be the limit for Plymouth Christian.
Mady Weber Mady Weber 5'11" | PF Hopkins | 2023 State MI (PF, Hopkins)
Weber has been a forward to watch. She’s an efficient scorer that works for good looks at the rim. It seems like Weber has been a threat for a double-double most of the season as she’s carried high numbers in points and rebounds.
Chesney Wilke Chesney Wilke 5'9" | PF Tecumseh | 2023 State MI (PF, Tecumseh)
Tecumseh has been one of the best team stories so far this season and that story wouldn’t be the same without Wilke. She a gutsy team first forward. Wilke can wear multiple hats having the ability to score, rebound, and defend.
Ryleigh Zinn Ryleigh Zinn 5'11" | SF Genessee | 2023 State MI (SF, Genessee)
Zinn has been an absolute force so far this season. She’s proven that she can be counted on as a go to scorer for Genessee. Zinn is a name that we’ll continue to hear pretty often as the season rolls along.
