She does the dirty work, has no problem fighting for loose balls, dives on the floor, uses her quickness and anticipates passes which result in points! Strong drives to the basket, can pull up and take the mid range shots, and finds openings in the lane and baseline. Takes pride in her defense, hands are always ready to steal.
Bridget Womber- 5’11, 2024, St. Francis DeSales H.S.: Womber plays the game hard, with intensity, and makes things happen with aggressiveness! No problem with blocking shots or crashing the boards, and runs transition breaks well. She’s got speed, and capitalizes with buckets in the paint. Finds her teammates, and often is in the right place at the right time! She makes things happen!
Nene Garner- 5’4, 2023, Thomas Worthington H.S.: Garner can go! Jet quick guard with strong handles, loves fast break opportunities, and finds ways to make buckets with her athleticism. Opposing teams have a hard time slowing her down- love her aggressiveness, and court awareness. She has a way of slicing to the rim, and making plays with contact. Keep your eyes on Nene!
Laden Elmi- 5’7, 2023, Thomas Worthington H.S.: Very impressed by her defense! She is scrappy, and thrives on picking pockets, which result in transition opportunities. And she knows how to put the ball in the bucket- solid from mid-range. Strong effort, finds her teammates, and strong motor all game.
Jocelyn Ramos-Chears Jocelyn Ramos-Chears 5'11" | SG Thomas Worthington | 2022 OH – 5’11, 2022, Thomas Worthington H.S.: (Featured Photo) I love Jocelyn’s athleticism, and how she performs consistently. Defensively, her length gives advantages with the ability to deflect passes, and pester guards with her active hands and feet. Has no problem with the mid range jumpers and finishing inside the paint. Strong player!
