2022, 5’1, PG, Natalie Sakoda – small guard with a heart of toughness, she runs the team to perfection in the set her coaches call and she is aggressive to the basket and to get in the seams and pass to her teammates. She can handle it well and does not make many mistakes on the floor which makes her very valuable to her team. She can stop and pop off the dribble in transition and she is good at scoring through contact.

– We have talked about Kaiya on many occasions, she is still a solid guard with a lot of skills that can score from all three levels on the court for her team. She is athletic and crafty and now is a primary scorer for her team and it fits her nicely in Esperanzas offensive set. She is still a good defender and is still one of the toughest kids on the floor.
2024, 5’7, SG, Alyssa Kubo – Athletic forward type of player with the attacking attitude needed to play at the next level, she is very aggressive and makes really good decisions when on the floor. She has good size and she knows how to use it on the perimeter by outsmarting her opponent and finishing plays for her team.
2023, 6’0, SF, Bella Vosper – Big inside presence for her team, she is agile and can get up and down the floor and demand rebounds in the paint. She plays hard on each and every possession and she is willing to set some hard screens for her teammates. She is a willing defender in the paint, she fight and relocates and is in the right spot almost every time down the floor.
2023, 5’10, SF, Emma Wu – another athletic forward type that they have playing in the post, very active on the floor, can handle the rock and can distribute to teammates. She is primarily used to rebound and score inside if presented the chance, but she can also handle the rock on the perimeter. She can get to the rim off the dribble and is capable of making floaters in the crowded paint, but she is a forward for her group right now.
Aliso Niguel Players that Impressed:
2023, 5’10, SF, Shanna Brown – Agile forward for her team that knows how to play the game, she is crafty on the floor with the dribble and always relocates on the floor to get scores for her team. She is one of the primary scorers for Aliso and she is pretty good at it as well, she is capable of scoring from all three levels on the floor and she finished in double digits the game that I watched her play.
2024, 5’10, SF, Katie Dunakin – Big inside for her team, she can run the floor and catch and finish, but her primary role on this team is to rebound and get the ball to the guards for easy scores. She gets to spots on the floor to score, but she is still developing in that regard, but she is a willing defender and plays hard on each and every play. Attitude is present and she is gonna get the job done for her team in every game.
2023, 5’7, SG, Hannah Carbajal – Another good forward type scorer for her team, she is good at the midrange and three pointer, did not see her attack the rim in the game. She handles well on the perimeter and makes good decision with the ball to keep her team in games.
2024, 5’6, SG, Aryanna Hudson – Bonafide scorer for her team, she can get to the rim, she can pull up off the dribble and she can knock down the three pointer. She runs the team well and her handles are sufficent enough to make it happen at the next level. She has a good basketball body and coaches need to take a look at her for their prospective teams. She makes sound decisions on the floor as a lead guard and she is aggressive on the defensive and offensive end of the floor.
