Below are some 2024’s to be on the look for!
’23 Kace Urlacher Kace Urlacher 6'0" | PF Fremd | 2023 State IL | 6’0 Forward | Fremd
The versatility of Kace’s skillset is beyond her youth. She’s a lengthy forward with tons of athleticism, high IQ, and poise. Off both sides of the ball, she shows energy and effort. Offensively, she can put the ball on the floor and create plays for others and herself. Her transition speed, strength, and finishing ability are always on noticed. On the other side, she’s just as active. She’s a backline blanket in the paint and she can also use her versatility to defend 1-5. Tremendous upside.
’23 Maddy Fay Maddy Fay 6'2" | PF Fremd | 2023 State IL | 6’2 Forward | Fremd
The height and talent of Fremd are unmatched, and Fay is one of the main standouts. She’s an immediate, and consistent impact when she gets on the floor… and that’s on both sides. On the offensive side the game becomes simple to her. Nothing flashy, she gets to her spot and goes to work. The patience and IQ are on high alert when on defense. She creates tons of disruptions and stops on that side. Great potential.
’23 Ayanna Jackson Ayanna Jackson 6'1" | PF Example Academy | 2023 State IL | 6’0 Wing | Kenwood
A playmaking wing that excels in whatever position she’s put in. The length, strength, and energy of Jackson is usually a mismatch for whoever is guarding her. She can hurt you from the mid to the paint and has solid footwork to go to work in the post. Defensively, she has the same amount of energy on the perimeter as she does the post. A versatile sophomore who will continue to get better.
’23 Jazelle Young Jazelle Young 6'0" | PF Kenwood | 2023 State IL | 5’11 Wing | Kenwood
Smooth, athletic and has the ball control to get to the paint whenever she pleases. Her strength and energy easily makes her one of the hardest players on the court (both teams). She’s active in every part of the game. Offense, defense, rebounding, and just plays every possession with purpose. She can score at levels and defend multiple positions as well.
’23 Evyn Carrier Evyn Carrier 6'4" | PF Sycamore | 2023 State IL | 6’4 Post | Sycamore
A post player who plays with tons of grit and energy. Her footwork alone on the offensive side is a key reason why she’s top tier at her position.. and that’s on both sides. The effort and attitude she puts toward defense are rewarding for her team and the rebound stat lines. Matching her natural athleticism and strength with her fundamental skillset.. creates a mismatch on both offense and defense. Her length alone puts her in a great position to dominate the game. High upside.
’23 Sophia Rodriguez | 5’7 Guard | Trinity
A tough sharpshooting guard that can knock down the 3 at an alarming rate. Sophia has the ability to get hot within a couple of shots and completely alter the game. She can play make with and without the ball and constantly puts pressure on the defense to not leave her open. She sets solid screens and knows when and how to roll/flare depending on the reaction of the defender. A solid off guard for the trinity squad.
‘23 Ciarra Richardson | 5’6 Guard | Trinity
Richardson is a playmaker first.. but can lead the team in scoring if need be. She’s versatile in the way she scores, from all levels she can put pressure on her opponents. When facilitating the offense, her IQ is on full alert and is seen in multiple ways. Getting her teammates open, or feeding them to their spots. That same high IQ is felt on the other side when she’s getting a high number of deflections and steals. A true playmaking guard that plays both sides with the same amount of effort and energy.
