When we arrived to the game by the halftime mark, the score was 42-5 and Etiwanda had all of their reserves playing in this game; those girls were very impressive to say the least. I did some evaluations of the girls on the floor and I hope you enjoy what you are about to read…
Etiwanda Players Who Impressed:
2022, 5’9, G, Talia Gardner – slender wing type with some good skills in the paint, can use both hands to score and can also shoot the ball. Good defender on the ball and is one of the best transition scorer on the team.
2023, 5’8, G, Alessandra Jefferson – another athletic guard for her team that is capable of scoring from the midrange or three line, defends like all of them do, well and is a quick guard with some skills.
2023, 5’8, CG, Jaiya Mix – aggressive guard with some skills with the ball handling, good passer and a decent scorer on the floor. Good size for a guard and does everything for this team the game I watched her.
2023, 5’7, SG, Na’veah Pina – nice size guard with some ball skills as well and a decent defender that can sit down and stop her opponent. Decent ball handler that can push the break and make the right decision. Shoots the ball well from three and is a good passer.
