#5 Seed; Rosary Academy Features the Following Players:
Allison Clarke Allison Clarke 5'11" | SF Rosary Academy | 2024 State CA shocked and awed all of the scouts with her tenacity and relentlessness to win games for her team. She is very skilled handling the basketball and is a master at getting teammates the rock for easy scores off good passes. She runs the point guard position to perfection in this event and is one of the most consistent scorers we saw at the event from all three levels on the floor. This girls is gonna get better and better as she goes.
Kaylee Byon Kaylee Byon 5'6" | PG Rosary Academy | 2022 State CA is a favorite amongst the rosary players, she has signed a scholarship to play for Utah Valley University. She is a crafty point guard with some swag to her game and also the confidence to be a great leader for her teammates. She can score from all three levels on the floor and is one of the better floater game guards in this event. This kid is gonna do some things on the next level, just wait and see, we said it here at PGHCalifornia.
Kaylani Barker Kaylani Barker 5'7" | SG Rosary Academy | 2022 State CA is another guard from Rosary that is a dynamic type guard with some skills on the floor, she is quick, she is strong and is a decent ball handler that can take care of the ball. She shoots it well from three and midrange and can get to the rim whenever she wants to. She is equally a willing defender and gives her team a chance to win each and every time she is on the floor.
Ava Dominguez Ava Dominguez 6'0" | C Rosary Academy | 2023 State CA was a great stretch four on the floor, not the customary size for a four, but in high school she gets it done. She will transition into a forward at the next level with her skills in the paint and the nose for rebounding. She is uncanny in the paint and always finds a way to be around the ball, which is a great trait for a forward of her magnitude. She is a great teammate in the process, love her spirit on the floor.
#6 Seed; Orangewood Academy Features the Following Players:
Hannah Stines Hannah Stines 5'9" | SG Troy HS | 2022 State CA to me was one of the biggest stock risers this spring. Playing on both the EYBL circuit and on her high school team, Stines already has some Division 1 offers, but certainly cemented her name as a player to watch out for in SoCal. She has become very comfortable with the ball in her hands and being able to create offense off the dribble. She can use screens to free herself for jumpers and she has a solid three-point shot. She can get to the rim and can also find open teammates.
Amaya Lacy Amaya Lacy 5'7" | SG Orangewood Academy | 2023 State CA is a wing with good length. An impact player last year as a sophomore and she has high upside. She can handle the ball and attack the rim off the dribble. Finishes strong through contact. She’s got a nice looking crossover and can get to her spots on the court. She can shoot off the dribble and pull-up in transition. Has range out to the three-point line. She has the tools to be an effective defender. Can use her length to contest shots.
