Aubrey Hampton-6’2 C (THS)
Hampton understands how to use her body around the paint, nice hands and footwork are always nice and all of that combined with her ability to finish after contact will spell trouble for defenders. She rebounds on both ends of the court and she runs the floor, not to leave out her interior defense is also nice
Casey Scherpereel-5’3 PG (THS)
Scherpereel gave me what I love to see ” the game starting at the 1″ and her court vision and basketball IQ definitely set it off for me as I watched countless on the money passes in traffic as well as her scoring both off the dribble and using the jumper but her handling of the ball under pressure was also nice
Shaniya Williams-5’7 G (THS)
Williams is athletic and has an explosive first step and watching her attack the basket powerfully and finish after contact speaks volumes about her strength yet she also explodes off the ground for the jumper, the pull-up is nice and she can nail it with a hand in her face but that athleticism also does some damage on defense
Moriah Gray-5’4 G (Houston Fury White)
Gray has “no grey area” left out as she maneuvers nicely with the ball in traffic while attacking in the open court yet she also creates her shot in the set and her deceptive first step enables her to get to the rim and finish. I also enjoyed the heat she applies on defense, nice hands to help create turnovers
Danielle Wiggins (Just Play Elite 14U)
Wiggins wiggles past defenders nicely and her ability to take them off the dribble, with either hand was a definite bright spot yet it kept getting brighter because she finishes after contact and also showed she could knock down the jumper while being defended. She plays good defense, also has a nice upside
Gianna Dudenhoffer (Centex Attack)
Dudenhoffer handles the ball well under pressure, that’s always a good sign as well as another base I look at, like long and athletic, and watching her thread the needle in traffic with “on the money passes” was nice, so was her showing she could score both off the dribble and dropping the short jumper
Ireland Wright-(IJU 13U)
Wright showed no wrong with her pull-up jumper as she set the defender up nicely to not only get her shot off but knock it down. Her release is quick, the shot is fluid and she also did a good job showing the “stop and pop” in transition. Her upside is definitely solid, she’s athletic, attacks with either hand, and also defends
