Neveah Craft (Westfield HS) Just Play [2023]
Craft has the right last name as she has continued to work on hers yet the last name also fits as I add a Y, why, she’s crafty with the ball, understands how to not only create her shot while being pressured yet her first step can definitely leave defenders cemented to the floor but what’s also impressive is her ability to dish going full speed or finishing acrobatically after contact. She elevates on her jumper on her “on the ball defense:’ definitely does not go unnoticed
Seejeonna Anderson (Eisenhower HS) IJU 17 [2023]
Anderson’s name takes me back, it was the surname of my elementary school principal as well as the cleaners that delivered when I was a child, and guess what, both fit nicely as I tie this in because she is a PRINCIPLE scorer that sets the defender up with ease yet in the open court, she’s hard to handle because she attacks the basket powerfully and with overly exceptional body control she finishes after contact but she also explodes off the ground with her jumper, mid to long-range is nice and she helps CLEAN up on the boards
Taylor Spencer (Cleveland HS) Houston Lady Nets 2024 [2024]
Spencer for Hire was a series I loved yet watching this Spencer told me a lot in just 2 minutes, a college coach taught me that but peep this, she is a “nightmare to defend” for a number of reasons and primarily because she’s one of those “never takes a play off” type of player and I’m talking both ends. Her defense is smothering, quick hands, the trap as well as playing the passing lane creates turnovers galore yet she can create her shot and just elevate over defenders with a hand in her face and drop it, off the dribble included
Sydney Barras (Summer Creek HS) Houston Lady Nets 2025 [2025]
Barras dropped a barrage of jumpers almost immediately to catch my attention and seeing them go in kept my attention by she is definitely a player defenders need to be paying attention to because she’s constantly moving, I’m not a novice at this and I notice everything yet that pull-up jumper in transition just did it for me, I’m talking from deep. Her release is quick, she shoots it with confidence, even follows her shot
Kimora Fagan- Lady Diamonds [2025]
Fagan made the trip from the valley and as I remember that the Jolly Green Giant was from another valley, she definitely showed me she’s on the verge of doing some GIANT things. Off the dribble, she can take the defender with either hand and finish with, well either hand but that crossover ain’t nothing to be played with, she can leave the defender standing still. I wrote UPS, which means she can get off the floor, either dropping the jumper or scoring on putbacks after elevating over taller players for rebounds. Very good range, I’m talking deep and her defense was solid, this includes her playing the passing lane
